Star Wars Discussion Thread Canon/Legends- Episode VI Return of the Threadi

No one wants to fix the ridiculous highballs and yet people flock to every new excuse to somehow wank them even further.
Tbh, stats really shouldn’t be the main concern at this point, regardless of if they’re too high or not. The #1 priority for fixing Legends at this point should be to make a page for The Force like canon has now and establish a baseline for what the majority of Force-users can do.

Legends fans, don't forget to add yourselves to the list of supporters for the new Legends verse page.

And if you're just Legends, remove yourself from the canon page.

I was reading Secrets of the Sith to see if I could find anything useful, and I found something funny.

Sidius says in the book that despite having learned the arts of the lightsaber from his master, he rarely uses them and much prefers to use Force powers in battle.

And yet he's one of the most skilled guys around? lol

Shit, I don't think I'll ever be able to do this skill scaling chain simply because there are too many characters to take into consideration, I think I'll just gather scans and references.

A funny thing I discovered while researching some things is the enormous power boost Mustafar gives to dark side Force-sensitives. So in the duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan was actually far superior to Anakin.

uh... wouldn't that be the other way around? Unless Obi-Wan is a sith lord now?
Anyone mind taking getting the models for the storm beasts in KOTOR2? I need to get their model heights and volumes
find Darth Nihilus' mask and use that

The fight in Musfatar between the two was evenly matched, and Obi-Wan won due to a ground advantage.

However, it wasn't Obi-Wan vs. Anakin in their usual forms.

It was Obi-Wan vs. Anakin greatly amplified by Mustafar, and yet Obi-Wan matched him in lightsaber combat and pure Force power (that TK clash they had).

So in their normal states, Obi-Wan would be far superior to Anakin.

Except every version of this fight ever made has explicitly stated that Anakin is nerfed into the ground during this fight due to being conflicted and exhausted as well as him just blatantly being stated to not be fighting in his usual form, rather more like an ape instead and yet he still nearly killed Obi-Wan on numerous occasions.

This is true, especially in Legends

What statements?

What statements?
There is a single statement in Legends that states “Anakin had still been between worlds then, and vulnerable” in Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, and as far as I’m aware none in Canon.

It is just a popular fan theory to handwave away Anakin losing.
Which conveniently ignores the half dozen statements of Obi-Wan being conflicted and hesitating while Anakin is rage amped.

ah, ok.

“Because all there on the bridge was one in the Force, from the gross structure of the ship itself to the quantum dance of the electron shells of individual atoms—and because, after all, the nerves and muscles of the bio-droid general were creations of electronics and duranium, not living tissue with will of its own—it was just barely possible that with exactly the right twist of his mind, in that one vulnerable quarter of a second while Grievous was distracted, flinching backward from a spray of flame hot enough to burn even his armored body, Obi-Wan might be able to temporarily reverse the polarity of the electrodrivers in the general's mechanical hands. Which is exactly what he did.

Durasteel fingers sprang open, and two lightsabers fell free.

Revenge of the Sith novel “

I've improved the blog, added new training quotes, and added the "Body Zones & Live Combat" section.

Now, it's time for Lephry to reevaluate.

I know Star Wars (at least canon) isn't a god-level skill.

But will we ever be able to talk about skillstomp?

The only libraries I went to were at school/college. But obviously the books there were only educational ones.
Well, I’m just saying that in the county of my library system, the Encyclopedia is available. I just need to place a hold on it to get it. So if you’re looking for anything from it, I can scan it.

Uncultured swine.
You know I don't understand any reference you make.

What is the Encyclopedia? Because there are several. But yes, it would be a good help.

You've never checked your local library for books, that is fodder! Not even Bookmans!
There are no libraries near my house.

Scans about Jedi/Force and Force Powers/Lightsabers/Mandalorians would be nice.

Of course, check if there's anything interesting about it that's not listed on the pages. If there isn't, you don't need to scan it.

Shouldn't Mandalorian armor have 8-A durability? It's explicitly stated that the material's ability to resist lightsabers is simply due to how durable/resistant the material is in general (unlike cortosis, which is stated to be more fragile but with the ability to absorb, dissipate, and transfer energy).

Obviously, I'm speaking from canon.

Shouldn't Jango Fett be 8-A solid?

what?

Sorry sometimes I don't understand you, you sometimes speak in a unique way and Google Translate doesn't help me understand you.
Whit do ye mean ah cannae be understood? Google Translate's a right dud at that!

His profile has a note that claims it's an outlier. But it's Jango's most notable feat in canon, and other Mandalorians have traded blows with Obi-Wan and other Force users too
Honestly when are blasters just going to be put at 8-A lmfao

Either ya make Jedi/Sith vary or blasters scale to them
