Teleportation: (By controlling Nakime remotely, he can teleport himself or Demons into, across, or teleport them outside of the Infinity Fortress)


Portal Creation (By controlling Nakime remotely, he can summon portals in various different form such as a tatami sliding door that can spawn in any direction or one giant gateway)


Gravity Manipulation: (By controlling Nakime remotely, he can manipulate the gravity for individual beings inside of the Infinity Fortress)


Summoning: (He can summon Demons to his position to help fight for him. Summoned the Twelve Kizuki)


Resistance to Fire Manipulation: (When Sanemi doused him in oil and set him ablaze, he was unaffected by the fire)


Standard Equipment:


The Twelve Kizuki


Susumaru and Yahaba


Explanation: Muzan's 2 onscreen appearances in the series when he encounters a slayer, he just summons demons to help him fight. In the first scene after encountering Tanjiro, he summoned Susumaru and Yahaba to his location to kill Tanjiro. In the second scene he summoned the Upper Moons to have them kill the Hashiras. Muzan's telepathy links him to the whereabouts of the Kizuki. He can freely communicate and talk with them, including Nakime, which can summon any of the Kizuki and Muzan to her. The rest of the series, he just forces his demons to do his job and kill more slayers. It's in character for him to summon and use his demons to help him fight.


Under Standard Equipment, it says


  • For important/relevant things that a character doesn't have equipped, but instead creates or summons, indicate after the initial list that the character "Can Create/Summon:", and insert then a list of the things in question.
Basically yeah,
It should be a standard because nothing in his character would suggest that he wouldn’t summon them. He has actively summoned the twelve Kizuki on screen and summoned susumaru + yahaba to kill Tanjiro. He actively relies 24/7 on the twelve Kizuki to kill the demon slayer corp, find Ubuyashiki, and the blue spider lily. He relied on summoning the Upper Moons to kill the entire hashiras + demon slayer corps while actively relying on controlling Nakime the entire series for almost everything he does as well.

Counter arguments:


"But Muzan didn't summon any demons against Yoriichi". During this time, the Twelve Kizuki weren't created yet until he turned Kokushibo into a demon. Muzan is also an arrogant prick during the time as no one in the past 500 years have ever contended him until Yoriichi whooped him.


"But Muzan didn't summon them in the final battle". All the Demons are dead. Theres nothing to summon.

Agree: @Catbowtie @FinePoint (disagrees with electricity and ice. Similar thoughts to Kachon. Agrees with everything else)

Misc: @Kachon123 (Disagree with electricity for Tanjiro and Nezuko and cross resistance scaling. Agrees with Minor electricity resistance for Genya. Disagrees with Ice and Cold for Kanao)

As someone who helped formulate (albeit very minorly) this Content Revision Thread, I'll obviously agree with the changes given.
 
I disagree with resistance to electricity. I also disagree with scaling resistances to different characters without supporting feats. Simply being "superior" isn't enough unless there's a statement in-verse that explicitly says so (which I doubt).
 
im confused.. tanjiro said he was going to lose consciousness from the lightning...that clearly isn't a resistance

Zenitsu before becoming a demon slayer got hit by lightning and got instantly knocked out cold. Tanjiro got hit by lightning and didn’t get knocked out instantly. Fought afterwards like nothings wrong with him

What's your point exactly? Lightning has AP. Zenitsu post-training is only 9-A, which also happens to be the durability rating granted for taking natural lightning. It's not far fetched to say that it's its AP did him in. There's also no correlation between Zenitsu's resistance and Tanjiro's, even ignoring the fact that he also nearly lost consciousness.

Genya's should be listed as 'Minor Resistance to Electricity' as he went white-eyed (nearly passing out similar to Tanjiro). His entire body tensed up which indicates he was mostly effected and it took his entire strength just to pull the trigger of his gun.

As for Nezuko, no.

I’m neutral on the NPI and the electricity and frost resistance (since whether or not the minor resistance is worth listing is debatable).

For the Muzan section I would personally be more in favour of having them listed as Optional Equipment.

Agree with the rest.
 
Disagree with resistance to ice and cold temperatures. Agree with everything else.

I'd put the Kizuki as optional equipment for Muzan, but if we're including them at all, then shouldn't all the demons' abilities be included, and not just Nakime's? Kind of like Makima's controlled abilities.
 
I agree with this, although I would opt for limited resistance to cold (despite having a good part of her body frozen, she could still move)

With the rest I agree, I see that naturally when opening the infinite castle, there are several oniis (who are declared to have the strength of lower moons), He can also summon them as he sees fit, I don't see any problems here.

I also see that Genya's electricity resistance is good too, he's being totally bombarded in the air by lightning, perhaps the others acquired this through reactive evolution, since apparently Genya has nothing special.

For Tanjiro I believe a limited resistance to electricity works.
