The boiled one still has a chance of winning by incapacitating Afton with either his mind powers or using blood manipulation.

Well he'd have to explicitly avoid killing him, ironically, since that would probably release his spirit/remnant or whatever and lead to further bullshit.
Otherwise, I suppose incap is possible. (Maybe with prior knowledge or prep time for the Boiled One?)
