Hmmm this is interesting, I'm not voting atm but Dexter would be much better in cqc I think due to his pressure points and knowledge of anatomy/jiu-jitsu and judo meaning he could incap Laurie if they do end up throwing hands. Laurie does technically have home field advantage knowing the house better though

I think because Laurie had the AP advantage. When I made this matchup back in August, both of them were 9-C, but Laurie got buffed to 9-B later on, so she had a massive advantage in AP. But new Dexter revisions were applied so it’s even.

Dexter is 9-B now. Can you like present actual arguments? "This character doesn't showcase impressive on-screen feats! They're fodder!" isn't how you're going to win a debate.

Dexter can incap via pressure points and their LS is equal last I checked so he can still choke her out if need be or just use M99 for a gg. Doakes isn't a slouch due to his ex military background and iirc was even offered a job for elite bodyguards which he didn't take up cause of season 2 issues. I'll admit that Laurie doesn't seem unskilled but I don't see her winning a fist fight with him.

Looking at it Laurie's best bet is that she'd likely have better familiarity with the area and could snipe Dexter before he finds her in the house. Though he's no stranger to infiltrating places even with people in them and his enhanced senses should tip him off to sneak attacks too.

AP is going to not really matter in the grand scheme of things as both have weapons anyway, also they're comparable in LS and Dexter can do better in grappling as he's studied jiu-jitsu and actually uses grapples in fights and M99 puts her to sleep. I can also point to him fighting the skinner (Who was armed and he wasn't btw) Also he's far better at stealth feats by sheer quantity and his senses should tip him off to Laurie trying to ambush him.

I'm voting Dex here mid diff, Laurie's best bet is to try and get a lucky shot on him before he can track her down. But that's going to be difficult when Dexter is

A: A capable gunslinger in his own right, so I wouldn't put it out that he can't tag her.

B: Has ways to be tipped off to someone trying to jump him, not seeing anything resembling enhanced senses on Laurie's profile

C: Is a much more capable melee fighter thanks to grappling, sleep manip and pressure points and can close the gap thanks to his experience sneaking around.
