Just no Cyclops optic blasts are a stomp, they are light speed much higher than Spider-Man reaction and they are 5-B much more powerful than Spider-Man, if it was a 1v1 I'm sure Spider-Man might be able to dodge but all it's needed it's one of them to distract Spider-Man so that Cyclops hits him once.
If you add some prep time for Spidey this might actually be a good match.

Oh, well, with speed unequal and prep time, I don't see how Spidey doesn't take this. He just recently took down/outlasted the Avengers with only 12 hours of prep on a team that consisted of a few heavy hitters.

He could use the same tactic, tbh. Web grenade could catch everybody except maybe Nightcrawler, and he could just punch him out.

Don't use that comic as standard, all the heavy hitters were holding back, and they weren't even trying to actually kill him they thought he was mind controlled, they also weren't following a leader or any strategy at that point which is Cyclops forte.

Nobody wanted to hurt anybody, as he thought they were mind controlled as well. My point was that with prep time, he could easily devise ways to neutralize them. He's used to fighting bigger numbers anyway.

This website doesn't acknowledge the batman prep time stuff you find off site, he is limited by what's within his limits.

Spider-Man can potentially use some ruby quartz to deflect Cyclops blasts or even hack the visor sure that seems within reason but an armour that can resist Wolverine's tier 1 claws heck no.

And if you talking about Spider-Man against Thor or Captain Marvel at best he can be a distraction even hurt them is unlikely.

I wasn't referring to anti-mutant tech he'd build. I more so meant tactics with clever usages of webbing.

He's definitely already defeated a team consisting of these X-Men, minus Gambit, as it is. He's dodged Cyclops' beams on multiple occasions, and tends to do a pretty good job avoiding Wolvie's claws whenever they get into a scuffle.

I never said he could punch out Thor or Cap Marvel. I just said he went up against them and they couldn't immediately stop him. Besides, nobody on that level is in this fight.

Wolverine's claws can cut it, worse case nightcrawler teleports out of the webbs

Don't, don't use that, comics don't care about consistency, Spider-Man is basically a walking plot armour, Spider-Man did well against Firelord does that make it a fair fight if made here? No, firelord is at least tier 3 and MFTL+.

They could immediately stop him, if they wanted to, they were holding back, they let that very clear, they weren't treating Spider-Man as a villain but a friend who was mind controlled.
