Actually, Sorcerer's in JJK are able to reinforce their ears in order to prevent undergoing the effects of Cursed Speech, a power which works through having the user hear the commands given. So while Kenjaku doesn't have resistance to sleep manipulation he should be able to prevent himself from hearing her song. That said, due to SBA, they actually start quite far apart which is more to Kenjaku's advantage as he has many ways to attack and detect from that expanded range and is likely to engage with ambush tactics and him summoning cursed spirits. Even if knocked asleep, his cursed spirits can act independently of him and attack her.

So I'm leaning towards Kenjaku for this one.

Have they been shown to be able to do that?
How fast does it act?
Would he even know to use it before Uta starts singing?

No, we just given a reliable statement of how you're supposed to defend yourself against cursed speech.
How fast does it act?
As quick as covering your ears with your hands I imagine.
Would he even know to use it before Uta starts singing?
Unlikely, as he has no knowledge of how she works, I just brought it up since he does have a means to defend against her song.

That said, my entire argument really centers on them starting too far for Uta to even sing since I don't know if in the real world her voice has that far a range without equipment

That wouldn't really be 100% plausible then.

Yeah but.. it wouldn't really be plausible.

Kilometers range. They're cooked to be fair as soon as Uta starts singing.

You voting for Kenjaku?

This fight seems pretty close since Kenjaku has the range advantage to avoid the initial singing range. But I still believe he would be under it as he has no prior knowledge

this might be a stupid ass question, and I do not give any offense? But can the OP vote themselves?

I see, thank you.

But for the match itself… is a Complete Mismatch.

Without Prior Knowledge, Kenjaku has NO way of getting past her Singing which gets him into her world. To which he is absolutely Stomped.

If Kenjaku has Prior Knowledge, and covers his ears with Cursed Energy. Uta is a completely regular human and Kenjaku can do Anything to her

You can check Due's argument of kenjaku winning despite no prior knowledge

Kenjaku doesn't have kilometers of attacking range, he only has some barriers of that size and they're iirc irrelevant to this match

You cast your vote?
No. I think this is a stomp/mismatch.

We never see anyone defending themselves from cursed speech that way. Even Geto, a highly skilled sorcerer with prior knowledge on cursed speech, got affected by it. Well this happened in JJK0 but I'll maintain the agenda

Well Uta only has her km range in her own world, not real one

Does this is Mismatch?
Pretty much.

Hearing is super natural in general, the moment Kenjaku hears Uta sing… at all even a single note. He is screwed.

If Kenjaku has Prior Knowledge, blocks his ears and hearing with Cursed Energy. Uta is a complete human
