The Adversary vs Janperson! Round 1 Match 4 of a 7-A Tiersetter Tournament!

I have no jokes for this one

Adversary is in her normal self, and Janperson only has one key.

So JP would probably start off with the Knee Kick Missile (3km homing missile) since she's out of his normal range. Not seeing anything she can do to him given the AP gap

I will admit, I was half-expecting to see Crocodile or Akainu looking back at me when I saw you commented on the tournament page just to take advantage of the fact the elements refuse to touch Thrall and that would include people who are elements being unable to touch him lmfao

Well, does he have any thoughts even remotely consisting of "This one could be strong" or something? Cause that's a good way to boost Princess to handle matters

Only against opponents he's actively fighting and taking hits from Like Gun Gibson or Bill Goldy

Ehh, so does the Narrator and He doesn't shape the Princess.
But then again, He's an Echo, "more like a memory than a person," so maybe He's more akin to a simulation than a real consciousness, who knows.

Though if Janperson is capable of thought/perception, I could see it not being a stomp since he'd apparently start by trying to analyze the Adversary.
 
What a way to start a tourney. The only character that can't perceive the Princess is the first person she fights.

Eh this feels a lot more of a philosophical question of difference between robotic "life" and human life rather than saying he has an actual mind/consciousness. Like how it says he was designed to be incredibly close and not that it's equivalent. Basically just code created to mimic how a human consciousness works.

Should've brought this up earlier but his circuitry that controls his conscience was removed from him in the final episode, but is still able to operate as he normally would without it
 
For whatever it's worth I think Jasperson can be considered human enough for this to not be a mismatch, but if the general consensus is that he can't then I'll vote for him.
 
Janperson goes to the fight, sees no one and the princess wins by default because he just left the arena.

IF Janperson does indeed have a human consciousness, it'll entirely depend on how human-like it is.

Since presumably the first thing he'd do is try to scan and analyze the Adversary with his sensors, for those scans to yield any results, he would already need to have a preconceived notion of what the Adversary is (The Adversary is a giant muscular demon(?) lady who towers over the Hero, who's already huge in his own right. I don't know what bio-monsters are, but I assume that's what Janperson would take her as?)
The Adversary herself will just wait for Janperson to do the first move (She refuses to fight anyone who isn't fully ready) and boast about how it's been ages since she’s faced a worthy adversary, and so on. Her passive Subjective Reality will also turn the area (Central Park?) into a cramped and oppressive space with the only way out being through her.

If Janperson's consciousness really only just extends to differentiating between "right" and "wrong" and little beyond that, he'll probably pay it no mind and just nuke the Adversary if I had to guess, if not maybe the Adversary has a chance to influence him.

Bio Monsters in this case means humans altered through biological science. If he can, he would just shoot her with his blaster that has 999 continous bullets and EE

Janperson's no-kill rule doesn't extend to Bio-Monsters I take it?
Also gonna need insight on whether Janperson would even classify the Adversary as a Bio-Monster, a cyborg, or something else entirely.

Knowing the Adversary she'll probably just try to tank it, considering the fact Janperson himself does have EE resistance, it's not like surviving it is an impossibility in-verse.
Should also bring up that killing the Princess doesn't kill her, you need to be convinced she's dead. Any doubt that she's actually dead will lead to her not actually being dead.
Which is hard, since the Princess seemingly has awareness of this and can influence her opponent's mindset with stuff like "Do you think this could have really killed me?"
Or in the Adversary's case is so convinced she's a full on immortal that she’s willing to just let her opponent kill her to prove it.

That's why hax usually doesn't have a huge impact in Princess matches, since it's ultimately a mental battle.

It doesnt apply to Bio Monsters this part of him got removed from him amyways in the final episode
I have no idea if it would but it's not just limited to those things as he's able to tell if people are something like aliens.

Hmm, interesting. If she does survive it, Could he not just incap her by burning her with his fire or 4000 degree lasers or cutting her in half on a molecular level? I see she has regen on her profile but would she be able to come back from something like that?

Entirely dependent on how Janperson handles her "Tis but a scratch" attitude toward everything he throws at her.
If he takes too long to escalate to the molecular weapon, there’s a real chance she might just pull an Armstrong and catch the blade mid-swing before crushing it.

You see, there's a snowball effect to consider. The longer the fight drags on, the more of a threat she’ll seem. And the more you see her as a threat, the stronger she becomes. At a certain point, it’ll reach a stage where Janperson simply can't win anymore.

But of course, if Janperson pays no weight to her antics or words, then the snowball never starts rolling in the first place.

Even though the Adversary will be getting stronger and stronger as the fight goes on, it won't be long before Janperson pulls out his lasers. Once those come out, I can't see the Adversary surviving.

Probably could come back from it if her immortality shtick lands, although the way Janperson is described to fight, it seem like he follows a very specific step by that step process.
Not really an analytical fighter that the Princess' whole perception thing can capitalize on.
