The Drifter vs A ******* Panda! Round 1 Match 2 of a 7-A Tiersetter Tournament!

I have no idea what the drifter does, looks like some engergy stuff can shoot some projecltiles. which will do pretty much nothing to panda as they are used to parrying and blocking from people more powerful then this like shin Akuma. There is quite a large lifting strength difference here. Class M to Class 10 so if panda gets a hold of drifter she will just rip him apart. If panda does get chipped down they will enter rage and get a huge stamp amp for ap and dura. They will also have heat and would probaly use it as soon as they get in dashing distance which gives them a boost to try to grab or swing at drifter. If drifter tries to stay at a distance panda will ki charge and get another boost.
 
The Drifter has already fought foes who could turn him into blood mush, so fighting an opponent who can heavily damage him with multiple strikes that can amp themselves isn’t something that matters much. Same with LS, since he constantly has to evade crystal spiders trying to immobilize him and let the others kill him when he's in the West.
Also Panda grabbing him is a huge "if" because Drifter is far more nimble than her and has fought against skilled war generals like the Hanged Man without taking many hits or even none at all. Granted, that's like Alarak level skill with extra steps, but it should still be more than enough here, especially since acrobatics exist.
Even though Panda can nullify energy projectiles, she would still have to do it constantly at a rapid rate against the Pistol, a weapon the Drifter can use alongside his sword, or just deal with him shooting her with the Railgun aka a hitscan weapon. He can also trim her down with Special Grenades. Nothing really stops him from strafing around her, slowly wearing her down and then finishing her off with a Phantom Strike or a Heavy Strike decap.

thats true but they got a good amount of speed amps and the heat dash is a huge short burst of speed they arent as clunky as you think and with speed equal Unless we give them cloaks to make them faster panda is gonna catch up with all of this and has super armor on there roll and dash so they are barrling towards him and not getting staggred or slowed down really. And going in to try to finish him when he is low he will have a even bigger amp in ap and dura as well as getting access to her rage art which she definitely hit the all the speed amps if he gets close.

Her short-burst speed amp is nowhere near Drifter’s short bursts, which he can spam almost constantly (without the Cloaks btw, like in my very first run when I didn’t really know what to do), and Phantom Strike hits her at blitz tier of speed. And mentioning speed equalization is weird when you realize it only equalizes combat speed, while everything else gets multiplied down (meaning Panda has far worse travel speed and whatnot compared to the Drifter), and his dashes still work like that against his comparable opponents.

Not getting staggered and slowed down # not taking damage, especially since the Drifter’s attacks deal piercing damage bs because he uses a sword obviously (enemies not getting stopped by any of his attacks and continuously jumping at him is also a thing in all areas, so that’s straight-up null). Med-kits fully heal him in a mere moment, and with how much he can outmaneuver her, he can just dash away a bit to heal and immediately rush back toward her. Plus it’s kind of hard to properly hit someone who has the same kind of short-bursts, but can actually reuse them after a brief cooldown and is legitimately good at dodging.

Also, add commas along the lines.
 
hmmm, well if panda cant catch up they will just get peppered down then but I still dont think drifter going into melee will be great idea she is used to fighting people who can teleport around like eliza and kazumi (i really should have went with one of these two who has like actual pa and stuff. but I REALLY wanted panda even though they are the worst) they can deal with someone dashing around and eventually get a grab off and use there rage art and its over. So I think it comes down to does drifter just pepper panda down, she will block some but a lot will get through
 
As much as it's hyped up like bullet hells, teleportation is relatively easy to counter as long as you have good control over the arena, which is exactly what the Drifter excels at. He has also dealt with Judgement, who can darken, loom, and then detonate the entire room (that boss should get teleportation for that ngl). So eh Drifter will be fine fighting another person who can also fight off teleporters.

That said I'm of the opinion Drifter wins. 55/45 fight ig but Panda isn't exactly a new kind of foe for him.

I think panda has got this obviously I think its really close though around 55/45 like you said but I think in pandas favor, I dont think much else to really discuss here TBH, they both more straightforward characters.
 
ill change vote to drifter make this move along cause we aint gonna get 9 people come vote panda. and thats start of grace?

Panda has no parry like other characters in the cast, Shin Akuma is comparable to Kazuya strongest devil form at the time, where you got that from she can handle a character of such level

Getting rage only at low health is a gameplay thing, characters can access it without going low on health

Drifter sits at 174 megatons, Panda sits at 901 megatons from a character below her level a x5 gap in power on top of Panda amps available

Class M vs class 10 is a huge difference, nearly 14k tons vs 6.6 tons, you say he deals with opponents with better LS, when he dealt with someone having over 2000 times better LS

Panda fights Xiaoyu, whom is a very acrobatic and stance evasive small character, from whom she has a few moves from too

The cast can fight from daylight to sunset to night in their fights, meanwhile i see nothing from Drifter besides comparable even at superhuman in the profile and the AP/dura gap isnt small to claim they can decapitate or anything

Panda can self heal too with specific moves or after a heat dash for your info, also has dura neg when in heat

Nobody fought Kazumi outside Heihachi and Eliza faced only Claudio as far as we know, Panda never fought characters like this, only Paul and Kuma, along spars with Xiaoyu
 
Not interested to give an opinion i just clarified a few things, plus the verse is gonna have a verse wide revision, her tier 7 among others will go away
