AP Changes & Upgrades
Speed Upgrades
Extreme Cold Resistance
Pain Tolerance
  • The enemies in this game can have their weak points blasted and pierced by coins, railcannons, and explosives, their flesh torn by the Screwdriver, and a whole shower of blood pouring from them throughout entire fights, yet they can still keep going.
Stamina Upgrades
  • Husks: Change from Presumably Infinite to just Infinite as they suffer eternal torment, likely without rest + the current justification for Presumably Infinite stamina (might not even need scans for this, ngl cuz this game is loosely based on a 14th-century fanfiction about God)
  • Prime Souls: Infinite or At least Superhuman, likely/possibly Infinite. Most Husks, as stated above, endure eternal punishment, having their flesh and bodies torn apart, with Sisyphean Insurrectionists boil with fierce fury and Ferrymen tear off their own skin and flesh in devotion to God's order, yet they still cannot amass enough power to become Prime Souls. Being described as "manifestations of pure will" and "incredibly powerful, to the point that even the prideful angels see them as a threat" seems to imply that they outclass Husks and sinners in every stats.
  • Demons and Angels: At least Superhuman. Cerberi are the protectors of Hell, and they can keep their energy orbs stable even though it takes considerable focus and effort as a display of power to scare off intruders, even while dormant. Smth like Minotaur also blindly running through the labyrinth for thousands of years. Lesser Angels like Virtue act as wardens of Hell and are supposed to constantly keep watch and punish sinners.
  • Flesh Panopticon: At least Superhuman. Should have the same rating as Flesh Prison. They are organic machines powered by both divine power and Hell energy and can heal themselves mid-battle.
  • V1 can still perform a ton of other mobility movements while regenerating dash stamina, smth I don't think other Peak Humans can do. So Superhuman without blood i guess.
Demons abilities and changes:
V1 stuff
  • Matter and Energy Manipulation: His wings act as a matter-energy conversion storage system.
  • Body Control: Via Instant Propulsion System, Continuous Propulsion System, Automatic Body Reorientation System, Inertia Correction System, Center-of-Gravity Autobalancer, Fall Impact Reduction System, Weight Redistribution System, Potential Energy Storage System (slam storage ig)
  • Vector Manipulation: Via Vector Redirection System; Might explain why Parry (also called Cross Counter now) allows the Feedbacker to hit things and either cancel out or reflect effects that normally shouldn't respond to physical force in that way.
  • Further Healing: Speaking of Feedbacker, V1 can heal not only with blood but also by parrying, as they can heal and regenerate dash stamina even when parrying enemies that do not bleed.
Range Upgrades
Gabe's range should change from:
up to Several Meters with weapons (Has shown to be capable of creating greatswords and lances with his powers, and constantly uses them as throwing weapons), Unknown with teleportation (Can seemingly teleport everywhere around Hell, teleported to the Council of Heaven after his first duel against V1)
to:
up to Tens of Meters with weapons (Has shown to be capable of creating greatswords and lances with his powers, constantly using them as throwing and tracking weapons), at least Planetary with teleportation (Can teleport across layers of Hell. Teleported to the Council of Heaven and the Moon after his first and second duels against V1)
Aye, the place where Gabe had his epiphany is actually the Moon, and the planet in the background is Earth, as you can see its continents. This is also confirmed.
Any other Several Meters projectiles and shockwaves should be upgraded to Tens of Meters considering their range is much greater than just 10 meters, especially with homing projectiles.

Extrasensory Perception for Gabriel
Resistance to Radiation for V1 and V2
That's what we have currently i guess

Agree: @Armorchompy (Though changing some stuff. Also neutral on Limited Invulnerability. Disagree with Body Control), @DMUA (Disagree with Limited Invulnerability and Body Control), @Vzearr (Also want to change some stuff. Disagree with Body Control i guess, cos of the lack of scans)
Disagree:
Neutral

Four Filths were able to break a wall in Prelude, which means we can use the Steel Door Frag for them albeit divided by four. Still 9-B, but pretty deep into it.
I would argue this should be higher.

scr.png

Assume that a Filth is around the size of a human male 1.77 Meters
90.68 = 1.77
190 * 1.77/90.68 = 3.7086457874 meters
248 * 1.77/90.68 = 4.840758712 meters
(B*H)/2 = (3.7086457874 * 4.840758712)/ 2 = 8.9763297025
Assume average door thickness = 0.03334 Meters
8.9763297025 * 0.03334 = 0.2992708323 m^3 = 299,270.8323 cm^3
Frag of Steel is 208 J/cc
299,270.8323 * 208 = 62248333.1184 Joules = 0.0148 Tons Of Tnt (9-A)
Divide by 4 and you get 0.0037 Tons of Tnt 9-B+.
Yeah this calc is rough, but still point stands. Also, just by visuals, that door is way thicker than 0.03 meters

The human male size is a bit high-end but okay, i guess i'll make another calc for it later (never thought about the thickness before)

There's also dash storage which extends the invincibility to a second

Also you dashed too late in that video. Hideous Mass' harpoon won't tag you while using dash storage, but it will tag you when you are sliding normally. So I can argue it's limited intangibility instead of limited invulnerability.

pure game mechanics

Ehhhhh fair i guess? Though this "limited intangibility" cannot even pass through superheavy enemies- and yes, it's a mass problem, not because they can negate intang or smth like that (and i personally don't think this is invulnerability or intangibility. Only added them here because it was a suggestion so uh)

Ultrakill loves to make gameplay mechanics canon especially if it is tech related (like slam storage) otherwise i wouldn't mention it.
Though this "limited intangibility" cannot even pass through superheavy enemies
That's why it's limited, because V1 can only pass through enemy attacks (magenta lasers being the exception) and not through walls.

slam storage is canon, dash storage isn't. There

It's limited because it didn't last long. Also yea it can't pass through walls, which is actually another thing that proves it isn't invulnerability or intang aye, thanks for reminding me

Let me know if anyone makes a blog to calc this.
A lot of enemies and V1 are unaffected by 0-E's temperature, which has ice so cold that it can block the exit door and immune to gasoline fire, Streetcleaner's flamethrower and rockets. The latters' heat are potent enough to melt through the foliage in 7-3 (really damn strong foliage) that cannot be burned by regular fire. It's also so cold that it damaged V1's heat shield when they brought the heat back, even though they were fine with the same thing back in Prelude. Demons, Machines, Husks, and Angels all have this resistance, with others who aren’t actually present there should realistically have it too, given their similar physiology. Only Prime Souls and Unclassified don’t have it.
The heat shield stuff should probably also be mentioned as a high temp resistance thing, sort of as a "V1 is typically protected by heat shields which allow it to [yadda yadda streetcleaner etc etc] and can [etc etc 0-E yadda yadda] even when they are damaged" thing.
The enemies in this game can have their weak points blasted and pierced by coins, railcannons, and explosives, their flesh torn by the Screwdriver, and a whole shower of blood pouring from them throughout entire fights, yet they can still keep going.
This isn't really an ability, just stam.
Mannequin gains Acrobatics for jumping high
Just jumping high is stats, not acrobatics. Granted they also flip 180° and stick to the ceiling so maybe.
New intelligent tabber cuz why not (there are two of them btw, depending on which one you guys prefer).
I think there was a sorta agreement that combat skill shouldn't be listed as intelligence per se. It never fully concluded but I'd list it as combat skill without the "Genius" rating, it's what I did for Samus.
Limited Invulnerability: V1's dash grants invincibility, as stated in this terminal, and the fact that magenta lasers can negate it. It's not actually intang since V1 can still be tagged by harpoons. But here's the catch- V2 can also dash like V1, and it doesn't grant her the same invincibility. This could suggest that it's just a game mechanic and a way to show that V1 is simply really good at dodging or sum. The terminals also mix mechanics with lore, so... ehhh, dunno.
I dunno, i'd list this as a possibly at best but personally I'm hesitant.
Matter and Energy Manipulation: His wings act as a matter-energy conversion storage system.
This is also Weapon Creation effectively.
Body Control: Via Instant Propulsion System, Continuous Propulsion System, Automatic Body Reorientation System, Inertia Correction System, Center-of-Gravity Autobalancer, Fall Impact Reduction System, Weight Redistribution System, Potential Energy Storage System (slam storage ig)
I'd probably list this in acrobatics just as "has many systems dedicated to enhancing its movement capabilities", it doesn't really sound like body control per se

Also I wonder if the "time processing dilation system" thing is implying V1 sees the world slowed down, but I guess that'd just be a general speed thing.

Also, most of the physical stuff here would probably apply to V2 as well.

Everything I didn't mention seems fine.

here ya go.

I mean, it can be added as an ability purely for aesthetic purposes, no downside anyway (profiles with "Immense Pain Tolerance" look intimidating and cool as hell ngl).

i blame some profiles for making me think that jumping high is an acrobatic thing.

Alrighty, i made some changes to them.

It might have something to do with the weapon wheel thing i guess (Perception Manip perhaps ?)

Yeah it's a common misconception since it used to be accepted as Acrobatics but was changed a few years back
Seems good. I think the second one looks slightly better but up to you

Maybe. I wouldn't index it for now though.

how do you know?

Maybe it is not intangibility, but how is it not invulnerability? It makes V1 immune to conventional harm.
Just checked and realized that it's not the old slide invincibility thingy uh-

Because giving him iframes to make him immune to conventional harm is clearly just a mechanic? How can you be so sure that all mechanics are canon? Why does freesliding specifically require you to projectile boost to slide freely? Why does dash storage specifically require you to dash and slide at the exact same time? There's also the fact that other forms of dodging, like the Streetcleaner- or even V2, which is pretty much the same kind of robot, don't have iframes when dashing. In the game, it's invincibility yea, but in actuality it's just normal dodging.

Huh- well damn i should nuke this thing-

Btw, are we still counting this game as an obscure verse? I feel like it isn’t anymore, but I also don’t want to ask other mods who either have minimal knowledge of it or aren’t interested to evaluate and dragging this thread out for months or so (like that one project moon crt-)

Idk there are like, 2 staff people who even know it at all, so I don't think it's an issue to. It's not obscure but it's not too popular on-site.

ic, well i guess i will just go ask the 2 staff people you mentioned (i bet i at least know one of them cuz I’ve been glazing this game so much i already checked all the older threads)

It's better to mention explicitly it can melt metal, as the hint from defeating big John reveals. It'd also mean that after their heat shields are restored (and they seem to break due to the 0 to 100 shift) they can endure that level of heat perpetually, since warming the environment melts this

With the hideous mass you're also dashing directly into it, so I think the active hitbox is still overlapped by the time the Iframes end. Keep in mind Iframes stand for invincibility despite not truly making you take damage and not care (and invulnerability standards needs you need a mechanism to point to for them being genuinely invincible), so I think it is just dodging
Body Control: Via Instant Propulsion System, Continuous Propulsion System, Automatic Body Reorientation System, Inertia Correction System, Center-of-Gravity Autobalancer, Fall Impact Reduction System, Weight Redistribution System, Potential Energy Storage System (slam storage ig)
I'm not sure any of these actually involve them controlling their bodies in elaborate ways, though. It's just distinct mechanisms you can point to for how they function.

The rest I think is fine

It's better to mention explicitly it can melt metal, as the hint from defeating big John reveals.
That’s just the old Big John’s hint that directly said it needs fire hot enough to melt metal tho. The new one just says that the vines are tanky and only the Streetcleaner’s fire can burn through them.

How is V1 supposed to pass this obstacle without invincibility

Last edited:
You know that obstacle doesn’t even deal damage, right? You know dashing could just mean he uses more force to pass through the electricity, right?
Doesn't matter, he can do the same with other attacks.
You know it’s just a tutorial to show that dashing grants iframes so players know how to use it, right?
Is sliding and ground slam not canon because it's in the tutorial?
Why does freesliding specifically require you to projectile boost to slide freely? Why does dash storage specifically require you to dash and slide at the exact same time?
Because V1's entire fighting style is combining stuff.
There's also the fact that other forms of dodging, like the Streetcleaner- or even V2, which is pretty much the same kind of robot, don't have iframes when dashing.
V1 and Streetcleaners aren't the same, and V2 is a fraud.

Because it's supposed to show that he dodges them, not that dashing forward grants him invincibility.
Is sliding and ground slam not canon because it's in the tutorial?
When did I say they aren't canon? Can you please also specifically point out where I said dash isn't canon? I'm talking about iframes here, bud.
Because V1's entire fighting style is combining stuff.
Combining things like getting blasted by his own blast allowing him to freely slide?? I don’t mind characters stringing their combos together to create new abilities, as long as they make some sort of sense and aren’t too much of a stretch.
V1 and Streetcleaners aren't the same, and V2 is a fraud.

I think you might as well try to just ask staff members to check the thread, it's mostly self-evident. Or we can just say Ultrakill is obscure enough to apply, idk

Yeah I'll go with the second option and apply the changes now

You dodge by getting away from something, not by bumping to it, especially when it's a wall of electricity with gaps that are too small for V1.
Not to mention that wall of electricity didn't exist before the update, and it's not necessary for a casual player to know about iframes to play and beat ultrakill. And yet they included it in the tutorial.
Also it's stated in the terminals that the radiant power of the sun makes Sisyphus' explosive attacks very difficult to avoid, and it's recommended to utilize this invincibility to avoid explosions without escaping its radius.

I'm not smort or anything, but I'm sure as hell that electricity is intangible. If all the tutorial parts are actually canon, then it simply means that V1 has put in more effort to bump through. Combined with the fact that they can't even hurt V1-

"It's not necessary for a casual player to know about iframes" as the 'DASH through danger' prompt couldn't be more obvious. Dunno what point you're trying to make here, because most players aren't even powerscalers and the like. They'd just instantly know 'aye, this gives me iframes (or "whatever that thing is called" if they are that much of a casual) so I can pass through it' like damn, couldn't be more blatant.
Also it's stated in the terminals that the radiant power of the sun makes Sisyphus' explosive attacks very difficult to avoid, and it's recommended to utilize this invincibility to avoid explosions without escaping its radius.
Me when the Revolver Strategy says The revolver's precision and the instant travel time does that mean it has infinite attack speed??! Of course not lol. I'll say this again- terminals mix both lore and game mechanics. Not everything written out is actually canon. Unless dash has enough evidence to clearly show its mechanics are canon, like Projectile Boost, and doesn’t have tons of other stuff proving otherwise, then sure, I’d agree it gives V1 invulnerability.
(Huh, why wouldn’t the humans just make him invincible when he’s about to get attacked instead? Why does he have to take effort to dash?! Hmmmm genius engineering i guess!)

This is fine.

Yes they can. And they're also still able to continue enduring the same punishments too.
It's fine then.
OP lacks these, but they can quickly accelerate and decelerate and-

-so i suppose it's fine?
I don't know if it fit's this:
  • Hypermobility: The user is capable of performing extremely agile movements with their body that could cause pain or even notable injuries to the vast majority of other people under the same conditions, including surviving falls by simply maneuvering.
