Going with Sweepster here due to speed and LS advantage. Sweep would prob end up crushing Sayori.

He wouldn't be able to do that since he's not actually physically pushing her and he doesn't have the durability to withstand slamming his opponent and himself into a wall at Superhuman speed. Sayori can just attack him while she's getting pulled because nothing prevents her from doing it.
 
What material is sweep made of? Even a wooden broom would take a while for a person to wear it out and break it eventually.

If it's plastic then shouldn't that make Sayori naturally stronger? Like she could grab Gotta Sweep going at his speed then pin it to the ground and start attacking

He doesn't or at least hasn't shown the ability to. As his profile says, he's capable of maneuvering around the whole school at superhuman speed without crashing into a wall. He can do so while pushing Playtime, a 10-C character, without hurting her.
 
Right so this is more of a matter of Gotta Sweep bashing itself into Sayori than dashing at it?

The profile apparently debunks this. Vector manipulation and stat reduction is why the broom isn't 9-B.

And would upgrading Gotta Sweep make some convoluted tiering system contradiction shenangicans like IRL humans doing 9-C charges? IRL brooms are made up of pretty hard materials, but I could potentially dent or eventually snap a broom in half with time. Sayori should have this wincon, albeit with some difficulty.

Pull me in for the broom, but I'll hold o fff on the voting until there are counters.

That would be hard to do surprisingly due to the broom's vector manipulation and stat reduction. If Sayori had superior LS, maybe, but she's most definitely getting overpowered
 
Gonna vote Sayori here, Mr Sweep doesn't actually hurt anyone he runs into, he moves people around but even slamming the player into a wall doesn't actually do anything to you. Eventually Sayori could pick him up or something

Doesn't the baldi school have some items for Sayori to use jusy laying around, would any of those be usrful
 
Funny match-up! I vote for the match to be inconclusive. Gotta Sweep has no attacks and Sayori wouldn't be able to keep up with Gotta Sweep. Gotta Sweep waiting in his closet for minutes after sweeping the school might be because he waits for it to get dirty again rather than because he's tired, or maybe the reason is both. Gotta Sweep is also taller than Baldi, so even if Sayori has what it takes to attack him, she would have trouble due to Gotta Sweep's size and the speed reduction effect produced from touching Gotta Sweep. I think the idea that Sayori would win has to involve one of those "even if the battle takes days, [character] will eventually..." scenarios, but Sayori doesn't know how to fight like that, so I disagree with the idea of Sayori winning.

Gotta Sweep was Wall level for supposedly slamming into walls at high speed, even though he doesn't collide with walls. There is also the reason that he can carry everyone in the school, but... He is also programmed for characters to phase through him and to have their movement physics altered when that happens, so characters colliding with him isn't an event that has the same physics as in real life. The setting of Baldi's Basics is canonically a broken video game, so specifics like these matter more than you might think.

This method looks better than the old one because it excludes other characters from the equation, so try performing a content revision based on it. Even though Gotta Sweep doesn't collide with walls and he doesn't damage characters or even contact with them in a realistic way, he must be stronger than Human level for being able to zoom around supporting his own weight.

To be fair, back when Gotta Sweep's attack potency was ranked as Wall level, everyone he was capable of moving was ranked as having Wall level durability for that reason.

And yet you can phase through the broom in other instances. Even when taking these feats and anti feats with the canon, that would mean the broom has selective intangibility properties. Is there at least an opportunity where Sayori can physically harm the broom?

It's a slightly confusing situation. It's not as though Gotta Sweep is fully intangible like a ghost, but at the same time, Gotta Sweep doesn't truly block paths he's on like It's a Bully does to everyone or like 1st Prize moving does to the playable character, because characters can be "in" Gotta Sweep or go through him in the video game esque way characters would do that. An actual intangibility superpower may or may not be present, and I didn't think to address this concern when I removed Gotta Sweep's Wall level ratings. Nonetheless, it's the same valid idea as how you wouldn't scale Baldi's durability to Wall level for 1st Prize kind of touching him non-impactfully as the two pass each other in the linked clip, you would instead scale Baldi's durability to Wall level for withstanding his own attacks that can harm the playable character who can survive 1st Prize legitimately crashing. Even in games that aren't meta, if a game refuses to acknowledge two characters impacting with each other even if that would make sense and the two just clip through each other or jankily go around one another, it becomes questionable to scale stats of the two together for one charging into the other.

In any case, even if Gotta Sweep has a meaningful form of intangibility, it isn't something he can defensively benefit from, as evident by Gotta Sweep being vulnerable to BSODA or Dr. Reflex smashing him flat with a hammer. If Sayori were to throw a punch, it would go into contact with Gotta Sweep. The only relevance Gotta Sweep's "intangibility" would have in this match is that Sayori and Gotta Sweep running into each other wouldn't result in a clash, and Sayori would be able to pass him if she would decide to keep running. It's more of a weakness Gotta Sweep has if anything.
