Idk, if I was already in healthy condition and got over twice as strong after only a few months of training, that'd be pretty impressive. How much has Mark actually worked out?
Like, he's half-human, so it probably applies, but we got any fitness experts here?
In 90 days of presumably professional workouts, he got:
65% more Speed
70% more Endurance
138% more Strength
That feel underwhelming to anyone else?
Bro worked out for 3 months & couldn't improve by more than a 2 & a half times factor, AT BEST. If the other 2 statistics are any precedent, & they're treated as impressive, then his gains probably aren't much better.
Would numbers like those be good for a real person's workout?
How do you think that'll go down?We can see Mark fighting male versions of Duplik8, so that suggests he goes to another universe.
Well, checking Invincible's verse page, which the comics & TV series shares, Duplik8 doesn't even have a profile.Idk, if I was already in healthy condition and got over twice as strong after only a few months of training, that'd be pretty impressive.

I was asking what you thought would happen that would cause that fight, rather than how it would end, lol.Well, checking Invincible's verse page, which the comics & TV series shares, Duplik8 doesn't even have a profile.
But, we do have profiles for a couple of presumable peers:
Tier: At least 9-A, possibly far higher physically, at least 9-A to Low 6-B, likely far higher with equipment![]()
Rex Splode (TV Series)
Rex Splode is a character from the TV series "Invincible". He possesses the ability to generate explosive energy from his hands, which he can use to create powerful blasts. Initially portrayed as arrogant and cocky, Rex Splode is a member of the Guardians of the Globe. Over time, he faces...vsbattles.fandom.com
Attack Potency: At least Small Building level, possibly far higher physically (Fought against and killed all of the members of the Lizard League including Komodo Dragon who could fight against the Immortal), at least Small Building level to Small Country level, likely far higher with equipment (Oneshotted Komodo Dragon and Octoboss who could tank a hit from Invincible)
Tier: At least 9-C, likely 9-A, possibly far higher![]()
Shapesmith (TV Series)
Shapesmith is a martian superhero who came to Earth after taking the place of Rus Livingston, one of Earth's astronauts. After arriving on Earth and assuming Rus' identity, Shapesmith joined the Guardians of the Globe in an effort to protect people and become a superhero. Tier: At least 9-C...vsbattles.fandom.com
Attack Potency: At least Street level (Managed to knock out Rus Livingston in one hit[1], cracking his helmet in the process. Was able to kill multiple sequids at once with his bare hands[1]), likely Small Building level, possibly far higher (Fought the members of the Lizard League[2] alongside Rex, whom he should be comparable to)
I'd be surprised if Duplik8 was on Invincible's level at all. & I doubt her male counterpart from another universe will fare much better.
We see male Duplik8 knock down a distracted Rex from behind. Was Rex with Mark in this alternate universe? Or are they an invader?
We late see him give Rex a nosebleed.
& soon after, we see 12 of him on-screen at once. In fact, going frame by frame, a thirteenth instance of him can be seen in that scene.
Also, OMG LOL. In that scene, there seems to be TWO of them with the number 5. Did those artists really leave a continuity error in their trailer?!
Anyway, in the close-up of them grappling him, we can see the numbers on their shirts, much like how Duplik8's uniform also gets numbered. (Do their powers just... create the uniform?)
Highest number I saw is 42.
Anyway, Mark is able to behead one of them, bloody severed partial spinal cord & all, basically barehanded.
So yeah, if you're asking me, there's definitely no way "Infin8" or whater his name is gonna be, is gonna be scaling to Mark.
As for the whole alternate universe stuff, it's curious, because it looks like Earth, the clone dude attacks Rex & Invincible alike.
So this some kind of weird Guardians of the Globe Mission where Sinclair somehow got interdimensional universe tech & sent them somewhere? ....Nah, I doubt he'd sent his top supes to scout another world, let alone compromise his country for a crisis on another universe's planet.
So clone guy, Infin8 or whatver, seems like he's invading.
Ah. Sorry to go at such length.I was asking what you thought would happen that would cause that fight, rather than how it would end, lol.
Well, if you're talking about cloning experiments, I think the only ones we'd know about at this point in the series are the Maulers, Robot(With the Maulers), and the ones that made Eve's "siblings".Ah. Sorry to go at such length.
I have no clue what could've caused it, though I do recall last season there was a time where we saw a universe where both Omniman AND Invincible were evil & tyrants that Earth was rebelling against.
It could be that Infin8 is from such a universe.... But that might not explain him attacking Rex. He'd have to know of Rex associating with Invincible, & he doesn't look ragged from living a rebel's life.
It is curious. He's a different gendered Kate, he has a better version of her powers (Up to 42 clones.), & seems to hate Rex &/or Invincible. Maybe he dislikes them by association with the Guardians of the Globe & Sinclair? Some kind of dislike of their experiments? Did GotG or Sinclair ruin clone guy's home? Maybe he just thinks superhumans in general are a problem to be removed?
Hmmm. Well, there could've been an experiment that we don't know about yet that set off Infin8.Well, if you're talking about cloning experiments, I think the only ones we'd know about at this point in the series are the Maulers, Robot(With the Maulers), and the ones that made Eve's "siblings".
Honestly I’m more confused on how the numbers affect his current statsHow much has Mark actually worked out?
Like, he's half-human, so it probably applies, but we got any fitness experts here?
In 90 days of presumably professional workouts, he got:
65% more Speed
70% more Endurance
Wait, what?Honestly I’m more confused on how the numbers affect his current stats
138% his current strength isn’t actually that huge a gap (like he goes from 1.08 to 1.4 Teratons with the increase)
TBH, I'd be surprised if we DIDN'T get something that makes him scale over 2.4x stronger in the whole season, especially with training.so it means Season 2 Mark will basically scale to anything he performs in this season.
180% number?Say he gets a feat that’s Country Level, if he’s baseline Country that means Season 2 Mark has to get 3.4 Teratons of TNT just by virtue of the 180% number.
??But if a certain nuke feat is found at 4.3 Petatons then we get 2 Petatons for early Mark depending on scalig
Nonetheless, I can believe that. What I’m saying is the 138 is more impressive for Mark’s baseline then his growth
Im shit at maths ok?Wait, what?
The official wording, from the specific, non-automatic captions for the video are: "Over the last ninety days, Mark's speed has increased sixty-five percent. His endurance, seventy percent. And his strength, one-hundred and thirty-eight percent."
But doesn't gaining 138% of your strength mean that if you had 100 before (For example's sake), you've gained 138, ergo, your new total is 238?
So if gaining 138% means reaching almost 2.4x times your previous total, how would Mark go from only 1.08 to 1.4 Teratons??
That’s true, my point is though you’d still be getting some backsclaing via the show putting a hard number on his improvementsTBH, I'd be surprised if we DIDN'T get something that makes him scale over 2.4x stronger in the whole season, especially with training.
Sleepy sleepy180% number?
There’s a certain feat that will come up probably this season that has calcs in thag range offsite, I don’t want to spoil what it isMaybe I don't know his scaling points well enough to understand the variables in your math?
Yea, I’m glad we agreeNonetheless, I can believe that.
Still overall confused, though, sorry, lol.
Ah, sorry to put you on the spot like that, apologies if I made you feel bad.Im shit at maths ok?
This should've just been kept as one thread from the beginning imo
Pasting my CRT again praying a moderator who's into the series looks at it and gives input on the new justifications
Beware spoilers as this thread seems to be filled to the brim with show-onlies
Doubt itWho wants to bet Banks is a certain person 10 times worse then Omni-Man
It should be accepted for all viltrumites since Thaedus said the weapons on Nolan's books would be actually effective against viltrumites, unlike what they haveHow do people feel about the solar disk thing being used? I've had a calc around for it for a while (3/4ish years before DB made it known) and am wondering if it'd be accepted for Conquest, seeing as he busted the same ship that withstood the recoil of the blast which blew up the disk.
Guys like Thragg scale multiple times above the current Viltrum value due to one-shot stat gap between Omni-Man/Invincible/Thaedus, and the Viltrumites basically no-sold through that bullrush as well. Viltrum feat shouldn’t be the absolute upper limit cap for them, seeing as if Allen and TJ joined in there too, there the final result would’ve gotten even lower likely. Wouldn’t be any reach at all to say they could tank stuff not much higher. Conquest’s bullrushes could KO second form Allen indirectly, so it’d make sense if he was that strong. Value I got is around 2.5Ztons TNT via GBE. ~5x above Viltrum feat?It should be accepted for all viltrumites since Thaedus said the weapons on Nolan's books would be actually effective against viltrumites, unlike what they have
Tho, given that it'll likely yield results higher than the current Viltrum calculation people will likely call outlier![]()
Tbf I saw there was another calc around that got it deep into Large Planet levelGuys like Thragg scale multiple times above the current Viltrum value due to one-shot stat gap between Omni-Man/Invincible/Thaedus, and the Viltrumites basically no-sold through that bullrush as well. I don’t agree with those calcs. Some use the little layers ejecting out in the explosion and assume an arbitrary time-frame to use for KE/velocity. Others wank the shit outta the supposed size of the disk and butcher all the geometric parameters relating to the disk-planet-star and all that. Case in point, DB.Tbf I saw there was another calc around that got it deep into Large Planet level
I guess, but we won’t be able apply that to the comic either way, so no real point in that regard for the comic tiers. I don’t agree on that, escape velocity actually works and has a reasonable time-frame behind it. It’s not like it’s a whole minute or something. It’s like 10s. Though something tells me the show version of the feat will be much quicker/power.It pretty contentious, safest bet is to wait for the show to go on detail over it. For a more feasibly upgrade currently, I feel like the ejected mass of Viltrum should be moving way above escape velocity
No other comic series would outright dismiss an adaptation when looking for references for their feats. The most significant changes scaling-wise in the show is the Guardians putting up more of a fight against viltrumites, as well as Mark, but the viltrumites themselves will still scale to the same feats we see in the comic when they get to them. If Amazon released a video about Viltrum's characteristics and it's confirmed to be a multiple times bigger than Earth, would you seriously argue that only applies to the TV series ?I guess, but we won’t be able apply that to the comic either way, so no real point in that regard for the comic tiers.
That's exactly what I'm talking about, if the TV show displayed how fast they were actually moving would you scratch that ?Though something tells me the show version of the feat will be much quicker/power.
It's not about what i'd argue. VSBW, nor anyone else, would accept it to apply to anything but the show. A random infodump vid from Prime is completely different than if it's only the show itself. If it's mentioned in the show that Viltrum is 10x Earth or whatever, it will only apply to the show. Why shouldn't we use comic feats and numbers for the show then? Stuff like Omni-Man's Thraxa travel feat, etc?No other comic series would outright dismiss an adaptation when looking for references for their feats. Post what you want. No need for credit. I thought that shit was accepted before but eh whatever.Btw, would you be ok with me posting the "Heat" section of your weaknesses blog here while crediting you, or you'll eventually do it yourself ?
I'm working on some CRTs to revamp the verse
We should, I'll address that later onWhy shouldn't we use comic feats and numbers for the show then? Stuff like Omni-Man's Thraxa travel feat, etc?
Alright, thxPost what you want. No need for credit. I thought that shit was accepted before but eh whatever.
Bruh. Also btw I posted solar disk calc.We should, I'll address that later on
Alright, thx![]()
I seeBruh. Also btw I posted solar disk calc.

I might upload TJ sun calc soon to try boost him.
Yeah it's pretty stupid how that abhorrent calc was ever approved, let alone not taken down yet. Literal 8th grade math fumbled and let through by the calc guysI see
Also btw, I tried every way to get someone to take a look at the "Mark throwing half a meteor into space" mess to no avail :"
These feats are pretty eh overall, Rexsplode one I'd hardly count as a feat. Outrun feat was done whilst she was possessed and nerfed right? IIRC she has a better feat of running from LA to Utah in-between panels.
