What if Daniel and Johnny fought in season 6? The last time they fought was s4 and they perform better feats since then.

-Fight goes on until one is unable to continue

-Fight takes place at the All-Valley arena

Daniel: @Vzearr

Johnny: @Kyleb79

Inconclusive: @DivineAura44

Daniel could defeat Silver, who should be above Current Chozen and probably even Kreese (tho he got beaten by a rage amped S3 Johnny). I think he's taking this

Schloss stated they're both equals recently, and Hurwitz said by S4 they were equal and always have been. It's a toss-up but Johnny has better stamina so I think he takes it

Okay I’ll count that as a vote for Johnny.

But wait Hurwitz said that? Because I’ve never seen that statement before.

It's from a Youtube interview. But he says something along the lines of "The two are equals. They always have been, and probably always will be."

Oh damn because I’ve always had Daniel above Johnny in certain seasons and Johnny above Daniel in certain seasons (except for s4 of course where they’re equals)

Interesting with Season 6.

Kreese was pretty equal with Silver as they both got two hits in, and Silver decided to abandon facing him head on and use the environment to sneak attack him.

True, I think it's because Kreese was suffering from a mental nerf due to Johnny until s6 pt 1 when he kills his hallucination.

I think so. Cobra Kai's philosophy is to hate your enemy and have no humanity for them. But he even says to Johnny in his last moments that he doesn't want to kill him but feels it has come to it. The screenplay goes into detail that Kreese was still deciding whether he should kill Johnny with the Sai, and he only decided when Johnny started fighting back.

The screenplay also says that Johnny's rage was the key to victory. Kreese was able to "Block and counter. But Johnny's anger is a lot to overcome. Johnny's rage is forcing Kreese on his heels." It also states Johnny was out for blood in this scene, so he was fully bloodlusted and enraged as it says he "goes into a state of red."

What do you think of my reasoning as to why Daniel wins? Does it change your mind?

I mean I’d just argue that Kreese was nerfed in s3 when fighting Johnny because he’s his weakness as Silver pointed out. Then by the time he fought Daniel he was injured but was honestly still able to get the upper hand until Daniel used the pressure points which was a technique Kreese had never fought against before and it was even able to get the upper hand on Silver when Chozen used them. So when Kreese fought Silver in s6 that weakness didn’t apply to him which is why he seems to scale so much higher than s3 all of a sudden.

This is basically confirmed by Kreese at the beginning of this video.

Incon vote counted btw.

I think it's a valid way to look at it, I took the battle as less power scaling and more the fact Johnny was using offense against a superior offensive fighter. While Daniel was fighting defensively against a powerful offensive fighter.

Kind of like how Robby couldn't put up any fight offensively against Axel, but he could hold his own when going defensively.

Kreese weakness for Johnny in my opinion was basically confirmed in S4. With S3 heavily implying it, and S2 being more so mysterious if he's lying or not (Hurwitz confirmed that the intention is anyone who looks carefully at S2 will see Kreese does love Johnny in a sense)
