Honkai: Star Rail Discussion Thread

I've been weezing like a madman for like 3 minutes now
 
So, after I saw the leaks of Ruan Mei's kit and her animations in X/Twitter, I was bewitched by her overall beauty and I will be pulling for her, I need another 5 stars Harmony character anyway
 
Trailblazer got wrecked on this quest, damn. No resistance to possession and soulhax. Thankfully, HuoHuo without Tail (he did help to distract Cirrus) managed to beat Cirrus and the Judges staff members by herself otherwise Trailblazer was likely dead via absorption.
 
Huohuo was honestly the MVP of the story quest. She left clues to navigate the illusory maze, removed Cirrus' control over the Trailblazer and as mentioned, soloed the boss+minions and saved everyone. The only thing Trailblazer did was trespass into a restricted zone for the sake of "hanging out with a hot babe" (read the mission description lol), get possessed and nearly die while not really helping much.

Also, the trailers made it look like cowardice was Huohuo's entire personality when she's really not that cowardly. She's pretty sassy sometimes and has a temper.
 
I'm genuinely curious, is there anyone actively supporting this verse? I know I've been too busy to make any changes myself, but a Honkai CRT recently concluded yet no changes have been made to any pages in over a month. I'm not even posting this on the Honkai 3rd thread because goodness knows that barely even exists at this point.

I'm helping with what I'm capable of, like I help @Aernasilver with additions to the blogs for the verse and nearly all playable characters, the Aeons and Bosses, I dare say he's the most active person at the moment, he just doesn't seem to want to be commenting on this Discussion Thread at the moment and I feel we aren't really ready to post a CRT to add these blogs officially to the VSB Wiki

I'm researching the verse and putting relevant stuff and scans into a document, so far I can't offer much because I've only researched the manga, and the game chapters up to chapter 8.

Though I've started making Sirin's profile with what I have.

You... realize you don't need a CRT to post profiles and verse pages, right?

CRTs are for revisions. They're only needed for changes, not additions.
 
Though, please tell me those tierings aren't really what you're gonna use. No one in HSR should be High 1-C.

Like I said, we aren't really ready to post the profiles offically, because we don't decided which will be the Tier for the High to God Tiers

We are certain the Beginning of the Game characters are considerably above 4-C baseline due to Himeko's statement, but for the characters like Jingliu, Jing Yuan, Phantylia, Aeons and etc. We still haven't reached a consensus about them

Is there anywhere we can discuss with Aernasilver? Kind of hard to contribute if they decide to do everything without getting our input.

Considering I can knock out three profiles a day when I'm motivated, we could have the basic cast ready in two days.

You can have a private conversation with him on this site like I did, it it the most easy way to help him, he will definitely answer you like he did to to me

I mean, I also agree that communication is obviously important the creation of a verse and its pages, I just thought it was easier to communicate in private and then review the blogs and share them with the people in this thread and find out what they think should remain in the profiles and what should be removed, but as I said, it seems the only main current issue that prevents us from applying what is in the blogs officially on this site is just the Tiers and overall statistics for the High to God Tiers, but in my view, at leas the powers, abilities and resistances sections are pretty well done alongside the References section for them
 
I don’t appreciate the accusations that I’m gate-keeping the making of the profiles.

If you go back 6 months ago I openly asked everyone to join in but only 2 people helped but that slowly died down.

And as Enryu said we’re still waiting for the accepted tiering so what you see is a placeholder from ages ago.

Only thing I’ve been touching are the powers and abilities and making the profile look presentable.
 
Things is you guys already said that the verse pages will be published after Luofu arc
Talking to private is alright, but at least inform us in this thread about the current updates, so this thread isn't dying down

Considering how your profile is set to private, it gave off that impression a bit. Glad we cleared up the misunderstanding though.

My main input for the profiles as they are is that none of the characters in HSR are currently provable as High 1-C. Even the Aeons haven't really shown explicit feats on that level. The highest tier we'd have would be Tier 4, according to Phantylia's star-drop, pending some more blatant Aeon feats.

I haven't gone through the abilities you've listed so far, so I'll need to get back to you on that.

Besides that, there are some minor things like Jingliu's age (she's well over 1000) and other small discrepancies in exact details that would need to be edited, but otherwise it looks good to go.

So, do you think Phantylia and those who scales to her should be High 4-C Tier via this calc while the Aeons and those who scales to them should have the Unknown Tier for now until the story show us more about them?
 
Btw, have we decided speed yet? From what I know, Seele has a Sub-Rel calc but idk if it really scales to anyone. Welt Yang has his FTL scaling, but idk if we're considering scaling his Star Rail to his HI3 self.
 
Having the Aeons at Unknown seems wrong but idm waiting for more info.

Seele fought together with the party against Svarog so they should scale and anyone else after if we're not using HI3 scaling.
 
Aeons stated can erase reality, Aha existence reach peak of imaginary tree, ena the order carry the universe and yet still need help from qlipoth to defeat tayzzyroth. Won't that help atleast
 
Tbh I'm not up to date with the scaling. There was a revision thread but I quickly looked over it and it was rejected? So I'm not sure what changes were accepted when the thread got rejected.

I mean the whole moonlight butterfly thing she does is kinda portrayed as above her regular speed afaik, and she blitzes Bronya with that feat iirc
 
I mean even it was, Svarog would have to be keeping up with her or he is just standing there and getting pummeled by the whole party lol.

Scaling a game verse smh...

From what I can remember, the statement of Aeons being able to erase reality and create "worlds"/universes could gave them 2-C, but what Tier we should gave to the Aeons usiing the feat of Aha reaching the peak of the Imaginary Tree? Ena carrying a universe and its space-time in her hands should at least guarantee Immeasurable LS for the Aeons
 
Problem is not all Aeons are equal, Lan is supposedly pretty weak in comparison to to other aeons due to his narrow path, so unless we can get a definitive showing of scaling between them, it's better to just scale the aeons to their own feat or general statement. As far as i know no one scale to Aha or IX and neither does anyone scale to Xipe let alone Ena.

This isn't correct, the story and archives about the Aeons show and tell us they are pretty much on the same realm of power, since in verse, the only type of being that can harm and kill an Aeon is another Aeon, even Aha had to team up with HooH, Qlipoth, Akivili, Ena/Xipe (Ena was absorbed by Xipe during the time gap between the beginning and the end of Swarm Disaster's events) to kill Tayzzyronth
