We actually don’t have a good way to calc the size of that Bijuudama since Gyuki’s size is wildly inconsistent as is most Bijuu sizes. Hence why I decided to use the two Bijuudama calcs

Honestly guys, it's either this or downscaling to baseline. Neither is ideal, but we have to pick our poison unfortunately.

We probably need to call up some CGMs to clear up any potential calc stacking concerns.

i say we do average and at worst low end
but we could go the copium route and take the high end with the justification that bee had been fighting and getting weaker, so he wasent able to take the attack very well

So, damage, slayer, and shadow are locking me in the basement forcing me to make this thread, this is a cry for help
Oh no, the horror... We knew you well, but that's life

On a serious note, I don't mind the an average but if we wanna be safe and all the jazz, low end is fine with me.

I feel like almost everyone is saying they're fine with either low end or average 😭
I mean there's no way to determine which is more accurate the low or high end, expect for the fact that the anime supports it being entirely uncharged (aka low end). So, it's either, both are valid average em, or anime supports low end use that one.

Looks like we should go with the low end for now.
I'm obviously okay with this myself, but I still think we should consult with a few CGMs just to be on the safe side. I don't think any of us would want to revise the profiles again in a month or two if someone suddenly finds issue with the method we've chosen. I'd rather we definitively settle this right now.

The alternative to this method would be downscaling 8-Tails' durability to 4.3 Gigatons, which isn't too far off 5.2 GIgatons anyway.

I think this is calc stacking

Now I'm not sure if it falls under this:
Pixel scaling over several steps is permitted, as long as the size of the scaled objects usually stays constant.

It wouldn't fall under that.

If it was allowed, it would fall under this:

Only parameters that can't change between calculations can be re-purposed.

Where it could be argued that since it's the same attack, generated by the same character, then the value of it would stay the same between calculations and it could be used to calc 8-Tails' durability.

Well, but we know for a fact that Bee's attack against the shibaku tensei is the lowest his power can get, so wouldn't the low end be safe to use?

The low end is what has currently been accepted anyway, which is a different point to whether the method should be allowed at all.

I was refering to the rule you posted

Only parameters that can't change between calculations can be re-purposed.

Does this mean that if bee's power was something that couldn't be changed then this wouldn't be calc stacking?

From a 15.55 gigaton calc? That’s a 3.6x difference, why would we downscale that much?
Because it's better than outright scaling him fully to the calc, especially when we've shown through a calc that the amount of the blast that the Eight-Tails was hit by was not that high.

It’s not much better, they’re both bad ideas.

Have to work with the least bad idea here, as far as I can see them.
I feel like the best idea would be a combination like “At least [whatever, probably SM Naruto’s Rasenshuriken calc], at most [Bijuudama calc]”, not just picking one extreme over another.

I don't think that would help here.

I think that 4.3 is our best option, if we can't get 5.2 accepted.

It's supported by the calc. Now, while it is calc stacking, we can still see that the Gyuki withstands like a third of his Bijuudama. And when we downscale we go to the baseline of a tier. Like 1 Yottaton would downscale to baseline 5-B+, or 100 Zettatons would downscale to baseline 5-B.
