I personally don't think so. It's customary their own power wouldn't affect them. If they, instead, were tried to be affected by another and it simply failed, then I could see it.

Btw is it okay that Sonic and Tails and Knuckles are getting their resistance from the multiplayer? I know it’s not technically canon but nothing implies the same thing wouldn’t happen if the two teams canonically fought.

If that’s not okay then I guess I can remove that before re-locking Sonic, but I think there’s nothing against the idea this exact scenario would happen if Team Sonic fought Chaotix canonically, considering every other team can resist it.
