Questions about VSBattles Terminology

A few questions regarding the terminology I've noticed being used in this forum which I am unfortunately too incompetent to understand on my own:

What does "in-character" mean in terms of VS Battles?
What does "FC/OC" stand for?
What does "FRA" stand for?

"In-character" means that the character acts the way they would in their original series.
Yes, so for example if a character performed this one very broken ability once against their arch nemesis in a fit of blind rage or whatever after a long battle, and somebody argued that they would use that ability as their opening move in a vs match, you could respond by saying it is not “in character” for them to do that, since in their source material they used the ability only once and in extreme circumstances, and thus there is 0 precedent for them to casually use it to begin a fight.
