Where does Malos being able to destroy souls come from?

Please clarify this. I have went through cutscenes of entire xenoblade 2 and did not find a single scene where malos can erase souls.

I can't find anything about Malo erasing Souls in his profile?

Ah okay, so that part was removed.
BTW, why does malos has conduit powers? He has never shown to be able to use all those abilities in game.

Because as an Aegis it is an innate part of his being I guess.

He is stated to be able to erase existence. And Conduit Powers comes from him being an Aegis yeah, and he uses it to empower all those Artifices; especially Aion.

When is just a statement of erasing existence counts as soul erasure?
This ability's destructive power is not absolute, and one should not assume that it can erase the soul by default.

Added before that rule existence erasure was on Malos profile, but I think the soul statement was removed from Malos' profile anyway. So not mattering too much; though, I recall Core Crystals are often implied to be the soul of a Blade since destroying them also bypasses the "Low-Godly possibly High-Godly" regeneration. Though, it's mostly memories and consciousness which is different than the soul yes.
