Got bored. Dcided to make Anos thread

Tbf 97.2% of the people who view his page doesn't even watch his show, They just see someone in a youtube video say "Anos beats ur fav character blah blah blah" and then they go here in vsb to see how strong he is

I'd like to believe a fair amount of people like Maou Gakuin, myself included, but Razor's got most of it downpat sadly

Does few yt videos really keep him so popular for months?

If that really is the case then once season 2 hits, he really will be the most popular character on this site.

Oh boy can't wait for more of that on the versus threads

Got an anime, and is op.

Rimuru is always trending too, if Suimei ever got an anime, i bet he would be trending too, right now he is just an obscure isekai character, who is really op, but if he got an anime, he would be mainstream.

Heck i expect Ard to be trending for a bit once his anime comes out next year, though he is nowhere near as op as the characters mentioned here, and i doubt he trends for long.

Speaking of Ard, going to read the new side story that came out.

Well for Suimei it would kinda depend on how things are explained in anime because there are few complex things in Isekai Mahou. Anime would probably cover 3 volumes.
Ard is definitely going to be popular tho.

I'm saying this as someone who reads extensively in the genre, but do yall ever feel like these just muddle a lot sometimes

What do you mean? Like everything becomes the same?

I mean every genre has its tropes, i don't really get some complains about isekai. Just that the genre has taken off and a lot exists.

Like Maou and Gakuin aren't similar, Gakuin isn't an isekai, but if you are talking in terms of a power fantasy, Gakuin is Anos being badass, defeating everything. You can think of him as a gigachad, is powerful knows he is powerful, and isn't afraid to show it.

Meanwhile Magicians in Suimei's world are hidden from Society, they are recluses who hate technology, and Suimei went to extreme lengths to conceal his entity, cause the world of magicians is dangerous. Suimei both is and isn't a chad, as he underestimates his strength due to his father instilling that in him and the ridiculous comparison there are above him, beings who have been alive for hundreds of years, and age being an indication of how op you are in verse.

Where he is a chad is that he has this destiny to save the multiverse, and while he initially seems cold, always ends up saving those around, dragging them into his destiny, thus they become infatuated with him.

It's cool watching him school the people of the other world in magic, but yet at the same time even this "primitive world" has outrageous stuff like Lefille's teelsma.

Point being these series aren't similar at all, and while Suimei is op, in verse he is still only top tier.

Anyway Ard is from a series which follows the generic op fantasy trend that's going off, it's nothing special, but yet i still find it enjoyable enough to read. Matter of preference i think, i can enjoy the generic power fantasies/isekai, just depends on execution.

Not only badass, Maou Gakuin also has issekai, fantasy and each and almost every element required for a typical novel series.

Dude you shouldn't post multiple replies separately if the answers are that small. Do all of this in a single post as it looks tidy and better.

Just have a question. Why silver sea is not considered as hyperversal. Even though Cosmology has so much information.

The difference between layers we have currently is not enough for it to qualify

But as per checking this and comparing it to Maou gakuen cosmology. Pretty sure layers are higher dimensional.

Still don't get it whats lacking.

I don't know how you got that idea but i guess what's lacking is some kind of statemants of transcendents or higher dimensionality.

Pretty sure every author doesn't inheritedly mentioned Transcendents. But isn't there is a comparison between two layers as difference between dimensions.

it just says the difference is like in another dimension or something like that which can mean a million other things

Isn't every verse Cosmology differs. Is there any anti feat that makes those layers not a higher dimensional. Pretty sure there is a hierarchy in silver sea. Also Even if those layers are not considered higher dimensional then what about silver sea having different timeline. Doesn't that make the Cosmology atleast Low Complex.

Not really, I'd say it was a little popular because of the powerscalers talking about him but not a whole lot of people watched even the anime

Higher-dimensional entities can also qualify for higher tiers when the verse which they are from explicitly defines them as being infinitely above lower-dimensional ones in power and/or existential status. An example of this being verses such as Umineko no Naku Koro ni.
