I thought of this randomly in my head so why not. I’m sorry if this is a stupid match

Rules:
Dry Bones is 8-C and Spider-Man is first key high 8-C (Dry Bones’ regeneration and immortality should even it out.)
Speed is equalized
Dry Bones has his Magic Orbs
Battle takes place in Central Park at New York City in the middle of the night.

Spider-Man:

Dry Bones:

Ness:

going by the profile there needs to be other koopa bones around for another to appear.

Can you show me a video of dry bones teleporting I don’t remember that.

And for the orb it should be fine if spidey
can bypass his regen.

Oh yeah! I’m dumb lol. iirc he can throw bones at Mario in a lot of games but I don’t know if they can become full on dry Bones though.

It happens in Mario Strikers. It’s a move he can do, along with many other characters in Mario Strikers.

Here’s the only footage I could find on YouTube of him performing this ability lol

Alright I gave him it.

So basically, Spider-Man leads with AP, LS, and those resistances to Bones’ major hax and Bones leads with regeneration, immortality, intangibility, flight, and teleportation.

Dry Bones can put their bones back together, but have they ever been shown to regenerate the bones themselves if they're destroyed? Otherwise I think Spidey can just smash its skull.

The Dry Bones isn't a challenger at all for Spider-Man, to him it's a fodder just like it is to Mario.

I feel like Regeneration is just mistaken with it reassembling its bones, not real regeneration (although sometimes the bones look cracked and shattered).

Anyway, Spider-Man absolutely skillstomps, has higher stats and can easily incapacitate it with his web, zero effort at all, it doesn't have the LS to break out of it and Spidey can just throw away the bones or block each of them into web.
Intangibility and invisibility are worthless, they last two in-game turns and are useful only to pass through things, probably the Dry Bone can't even harm anyone, the effects will just fade out after awhile without concluding anything.

This match is a stomp, the Dry Bones can't literally do anything to Spider-Man and has 0 chances to win.

Honestly if nothing else works Spidey can just grab the skull and throw it five city blocks away

Dry Bones’ can regenerate his bones to an extent iirc. In Mario Galaxy, Mario jumped on him and made his jaw come off his skull and several fragments come off of him. In another one of the classic Mario games, it looked like he crushed Dry Bones skull through dry Bones head and regenerated.

Here’s a video I found for it:

Mario in caving Dry Bones head is at 0:30 mark and Mario fragmenting Dry Bones s little bit is at the 1:57 mark. Mario can also throw Star bits at Dry Bones and fragment his bones a bit yet he looks the same and fine.

But if this is still a stomp I can change this to MCU Spider-Man or something if I need to.

Is it even in-character for Dry Bones to use Teleportation, Invisibility, or Intangibility in combat?

Yeah the skull is definitely broken, and it definitely regens

But honestly no matter the spider-man incarnation i can't really see any of them not coming up with "web up skull then throw it as far as possible"

I don't think Dry Bones can hold a candle to any Spider-Man, it's just a fodder monster that either walks, throws a bones or or flies towards you, it's a very a very basic enemy. Regeneration is still kinda useless, even if it can pull itself off after being shattered, any Spider-Man can just block it with web or throw around the single bones.
It doesn't pose a threat whatsoever to any Spider-Man, who can outskill and outmaneuver it, and has faced way worse enemies.

Teleportation is borderline game mechanic and happens once in a single sport game, it's totally an uncommon and not in-character thing which wouldn't be useful anyway, as it isn't really combat applicable (the Dry Bones doesn't use it for combat) and still gets countered by basic Spider-Sense even if it were to appear behind him.

The way I see this going is Spider-Man shatters Dry Bones apart, sees it reform, then shatters it apart again before using his webs to stop it from reforming. Probably also tossing the skull far away.

Hmmm… I could bloodlust Bones if that would help or completely change the Spider-Man all together. MCU Spider-Man doesn’t resist as much hax as Spider-Man comics can and isn’t as experienced. Btw, does anyone know if dry Bones can summon more dry Bones on his own or does he have to have specific bones to use his summoning?

Even when bloodlusted, Dry Bones still doesn't do anything notable, it just charges forward for a tackle or tosses a bone at most, every Spider-Man is skilled enough to easily deal with and incapacitate him, regardless of the hax.

To summon other Dry Bones he needs to have additional bones at its disposal.
