Sosuke Aizen Vs The Hunter (Bloodborne)

But when he became a Great One he was an infant, can't even move on his own.. So how'll he fight in that state?

It says the Moon Presence is the one reviving him, the hunter dream is just the place where he is revived.

Aizen said that Ichigo would be able to fight him with zero Spiritual Energy if he has a lot of physical strength, so this limitation stops soul crush from being an insta-win with comparable physicals.

I believe the final key is talking about the Hunter just before defeating the Moon Presence, not his Great One infant form. After defeating the Moon Presence the Hunter's Dream now exists without need of a host, so the immortality would apply even if the Hunter was a small squid (who passively causes madness).

Aizen was saying anything just to deny Ichigo having higher spiritual power than him, later in TYBW we learn it's impossible for a shinigami to be alive without reiatsu.
So your argument is null, and the hunter dream exist doesn't mean much if there's no one to revive him there.

@M11UTD; that doesn't nullify the argument.

Aizen was wrong about what exactly Ichigo had gone through, but he still considered it possible that Ichigo had somehow converted his spiritual energy purely into physical strength - even if he didn't know how Ichigo was able to do it.

You're ignoring the second part of what I said, it's impossible to stop their reatsu without stopping their hearts. Aizen's statement was wrong from the start so anything follows it is wrong too, he was just saying anything to deny Ichigo being superior to him.

That doesn't follow. That's like saying if a character tells a lie once, then everything they say after that point should be treated as a lie as well.

I'm not treating everything he says as a lie, just the one related to this statement since it's proven wrong.

If his statement about switching reiatsu with physical strength is straight out wrong, then what he consider to be possible while being in denial would be wrong too.
We've already seen reiatsu effecting the soul without touching the physical body multiple times.

incon because passive madness hax can't stop soul crush, type 8 immortality will throw the hunter into eternal death loop

Aizen's SC range would be at least 20km, what's the range for madness hax?
Doesn’t matter it takes one look and aizen is incapacitated. The hunter could spawn an entire planet distance away, he could take the win with those conditions.

Now show me The Hunter before he became a great one using passive madness hax.

There's also him covering the entire seireitei with his reiatsu and destroyed the darkness beam that Yhwach sent.

So quick question, I know we normally don't really account for the mechanics behind an ability when someone has feats that allow them to bypass our standardized version, but would Aizen even be able to see the Hunter? It looks like in order to see Old Ones or Kin you're supposed to either have foreknowledge of them specifically or possess otherworldly knowledge.

Would Aizen qualify for the latter, would we just ignore this bit about the hunter's invisibility or can Aizen just not see this being?

Idk can the hunter see someone made of spiritual matter?
Could you not be a smartass? The question I'm asking actually helps your side because if Aizen can't see the Hunter, the Hunter's hax won't work on Aizen while Aizen doesn't need to be seen in order to soul crush people.

I know lol. I’m not being a smartass, the insight mechanic doesn’t really matter here. For the sake of simplicity. Same goes for Spiritual matter invisibility.

The hunter doesn’t need to see aizen for his madness hax to work. And I think aizen would be able to see the hunter, i also think it doesn’t matter because I think the madness hax still works while not being able to see them. Just by looking at the empty space makes you go insane, without knowing they are even there.

Don’t matter really. Great One Hunter is a helpless creature and featless.
??? Madness hax GG my guy. It’s all previous abilities plus the madness hax. Hunter wins from aizen looking at him, dying and then resurrects a safe distance away. While aizen begins to curl up into a ball and drool on himself.
