I don't think controlling multiple bodies would necessarily improve his reaction speed.

Okay, so if someone says that having multiple bodies gives higher reaction speed, would that be a case of multiplication?

No, unless there is a direct statement of multiplication. Simply getting better doesn't mean that each body doubles or multiplies the reaction speed.
