Vegeta, flight and range via ki blasts is a decent advantage and Link in character against Vegeta in character sides with Vegeta more, he'd be far more willing to kill and be brutal.

I think Link would win the battle, mainly because he has a wide variety of equipment to use on Vegeta, plus even without the Triforce Link would have the Hylian Shield, which would allow him to freely block Ki Blasts from Vegeta. And even with Vegeta flying in the air, Link can still reach him through the Skyward Strike and the Bow and Slingshot.

I think Vegeta has this because of the range advantage, he could blast him from miles away (I don't think Link can hit him from that far). But if he engages h2h he is going to lose because Link having more weapons.

Actually Numbersguy I think Link does have a range of possibly up to thousands of kilometers with his ranged weapons, so I think he could fire at Vegeta just as far with his Bow. Plus, knowing Vegeta he would probably eventually face Link up close due to his overconfidence.

Vegeta has far more experience, and his Ki blasts can be used in a variety of ways in order to stack up to the variety of Link's whole arsenal. Yes, Vegeta will lose in h2h, but he has no obligation to get that close. He is able to fly around and throw large scale attacks that will/would likely engulf Link and end up dealing damage to him that way regardless if it is blocked.

Vegeta takes this easily with his ability to fly, use ki blasts, and more experience. Any projectile SS Link has can easily be avoided by just dodging.

and then assuming 3-A Vegeta despite the OP saying otherwise

To be honest, Vegeta would probably tear the shield out of link's hands then use it himself o_o
he'd easily get pissed at Link when the shield blocks his blows and be more inclined to just 1-shot link at any given time so I think Vegeta. And unlike most people where rage can blind you and make you perform worse, Vegeta would get a rage boost and only get stronger.

You're joking right? vegeta has saiyan biology. Link's weapons will do absolutely nothing. It seems to me that you're biased towards link just because you played legend of zelda and have not at all watched dbz, much less the original db. And hello? Even if link did able to match vegeta in strength, vegeta can still turn ssj, which increases his strength and speed. Don't you see? Vegeta literally has the advantage in all aspects. I don't get why you would ever think link could win against vegeta. It's impossible. The only thing I could see link do is actually wound him, pissing him off, and then vegeta goes on a rampage and turning link into a bloody paste. Otherwise, link has no chance. Whatever feats link has done, vegeta has done ten times that and over. sealing ganon away? Great, vegeta nearly destroyed earth during the saiyan saga with his galick gun.
A much more fair fight should've been kid goku (before or after king piccolo arc) vs link, but I don't understand why people want to do this one sided bullshit over some kid with a tail vs some geen hat teen with a sword. Even if this was a relatively good fight, we all know who would win.

Did you...even look at the tiers? Link is Large Star level. Heck, he has the AP advantage here, and Vegeta needs ASSJ to keep up. Vegeta already won. Classic DB gets stomped. Saiyan Saga gets stomped. Frieza Saga gets stomped. Heck, Link (Composite) only stops at the soul destroying Beerus due to non-corporeality. Yes, Vegeta wins. But youre still downplaying hard.
Edit: Link's Solar System level which is why the math got removed. He goes up to Super Perfect Cell, let alone Cell Saga Vegeta.
