You are taking his sentence out of context. That sentence is for the final question asked. The person asked if there are other people who are multi-universal besides Zeno.

Offhanded author statements on Twitter don't take precedence over what actually happens within the story. It's the same reason why Rick isn't 2-A and Demonbane is still Tier 1.
I'm curious. What did the author say about them compared to what they have been shown to do?

Rick and Morty Twitter WoG says Rick with prep time is 2-A, despite him never showing anything above Low 2-C with his tech. Demonbane's author said the verse isn't higher dimensional, despite constant blatant Tier 1 feats and statements in the story.

Same here. Twitter WoG contradicts story itself. Story takes precedence.

Also when this Twitter user gives the author evidence against his statement, he eventually says "Even if he can, he will not do it!" It's not like the writer is even that confident with his statement that Goku can't destroy a universe. It's more like he doesn't really know.

Found the Rick tweet. Anyways, do the tweets above instead imply that Beerus was the main cause of the Universe breaking?
Multiversal Rick

You're extrapolating the meaning of author's tweet. All he says is that Goku can't destroy the universe and later somewhat goes back on this. He doesn't suggest Beerus was the primary/only cause of the shockwaves.

As that user shows in your screenshot, the series repeatedly contradicts what the writer says. Therefore we're going with the series, not the writer.

Perhaps we should close this thread.
