Hello, this thread is about relocating the Anti-Spiral from tier 2-C to 1-C in accordance to the character tiering section.

I originally posted this comment in the Anti-Spiral's profile:

"Hello, I wanna ask why is the Anti-Spiral listed as tier 2-C when the anime states (in words of the Anti-Spiral himself) that he was able to create his own universe between the 10th and 11th dimension. Tier 2-C is for beings with influence over 4-dimensional space-time, yet the Anti Spiral goes at the very least beyond a 10-dimensional scale of power/infuence. Lordgenome also said that he could affect probability on a multi-dimensional scale which would be everything up the 10th dimension (I'm not sure if the 11th also). He also shows this power by sending all the Gurren Brigade's conciousness to an infinite number of parallel universes.

"In the ninth dimension, we can compare all the possible universe histories, starting with all the different possible laws of physics and initial conditions. In the tenth dimension, we arrive at the point in which everything possible and imaginable is covered."

Here's the source of that quote. (which is about strings in the M-theory)

I think the Anti-Spiral should be in 1-C according to the description of this tier:

"However, these characters do not exceed the 11-dimensional scale of the complete totality of a full multiverse, as defined by M-Theory."

I'm not basing my question only on his words but also different things that happened. Lordgenome tells the team that they could never reach the Anti-Spiral's homeworld because it was outside the space and time. (as stated by string theory anything beyond the 6th-dimension would already be capable of this). Therefore the team had to use the "Perceptual Teleportation" which used not time or space but the perception of an already seen object as the focus point for travelling (in this case Nia's ring). Later on the Anti-Spiral sends all the pilots conciousness to parallel versions of themselves in infinite universes and even shows this graphically as branching paths. (by string theory this would only be possible beyond the 9th-dimension). Not to mention that Lorgenome talks in scientific terms when describing the quantum and dimensional powers of the Anti-Spiral."

One of the Admins replied to me suggesting that I should post this in the forum.

We have previously talked about this in this page.

However, I am not knowledgeable about the subject, so I will ask others about it.

Thank you for your answer! I've read the comments on the link you gave me but they don't seem to address some of the info I'm listing here. So I think it's relevant.

As I already told, there are no proofs, that anyone in TTGL verse more than universal.

The Anti-Spiral's power extends over the 10th dimension. A 4-dimensional being wouldn't have influence over alternate realities or parallel universes, only space and time.

Here are some screenshots as evidence plus the information I already listed.

Anti-Spiral's universe is just large 3-D (4-D) Universe. "Ultra-dense space" has nothing to do with the higher dimensions.

Even if "10.5-D" thing really represents the spatial dimensions it only location coordinates of AS realm and not the properties of his universe. Unfortunately, there is no better translation.

But this is about the Anti-Spiral himself not the universe he created. The universe wasn't composed of "ultra-dense space" in the first place so it has nothing to do with this. The "ultra-dense space" was one of the attacks/traps of the Anti-Spiral. The Anti-Spiral's universe is just refered to as a "pocket universe" which according to its theoretical definition is a separate universe with its own set of laws, sometimes different from our laws of physics. This fits perfectly the description given in the anime because the laws of the "pocket universe" were under the control of the Anti-Spiral.

Once again, I'm refering to the Anti-Spiral himself and the fact that his powers could reach over infinite possibilities of alternate universes (which can only be done after the 10-dimensional )

I'm tempted to follow you on this Helix, but i don't think i wanna fully agree on something that MAY or MAY NOT be true.

Infinite possibilities was only mental illusion. Not reality warping or something like this.

I've already heard other people saying that but it has no basis. The Anti-Spiral called it alternate universes inside an Extra-dimensional Labyrinth. He even explained the mechanics of how it worked. He didn't send their physical bodies to the alternate universes but only their conciousness/awareness. Their awareness would be jumping from one alternate version of themselves to the other for all eternity. He did this so that they wouldn't be able to use Spiral power, if he had sent their physical bodies they would've been able to come back using Spiral power because they would still be the same person. (and they had the means to use Perceptual Teleportation)

The anime not only calls them universes but also treats them as so, not just as a mental illusion.

The animation also shows Simon going through the the first 5-dimensions before cutting to him inside one of the alternate universes (height, lenght, depth, time (shown as Simon figure repeating infinitely in front and behind him), and later all the strings join into a single point (which is the graphical model used in string theory to go to the next dimension)) The anime was very good at representing this aspects of string theory in a graphical way.

Bump. Is this related to the other infamous Gurren Lagann discussions and can be closed now or is it a different argument? Sorry for bumping something so old but it seemed to have gone ignored.
