Well, Clone Wars is included as part of both Legends and Canon due to it being , well, the Clone Wars.
I think you confused the canons.
The Clone War (as in the event of the same name) happened in Legends, however, there were events and powerscaling that did not happen. Characters like Ahsoka and Cad Bane are not in Legends Clone Wars. In fact, the real difference for the canon show and the legends show is the title, and art style. Anakin in the Legends one is weaker than the Canon one. But the canon one has more PIS.
The 2D cartoon from 2003 is Legends. There's like, one battle in this show that is canon, thanks to the Rogue One book,
Catalyst. And just the entire battle, and the episode is not canon. Just the fact that an event on said planet took place.
Disney regards the 2008-14 3D animated show as fully canon. As you see, Star Wars canon is picky because: Disney doesn't wanna dig plot holes, but also appease fans, and also to create their own canon to correct or explain other plot holes. Such as the literal hole in the Death Star.
Both have different timelines (it's still 3 years, but he 2008-14 show is more eventful) and characters are portrayed differently. For example, Legends Grievous = 6 Jedi Masters. Canon Grievous = 2 Jedi Masters,
at best. And various other canon nit picks such as weapons and how they work, and how technically they are all Tier 9 without the Force, but scaling and PIS just kind of poisons the series.
