Now before anyone thinks: STOMP!! I'd like to point out that Rhino's resistance to mind control completely negates the force because he's a *spoiler alert* robot. There are other reasons why either one could win but that's up to you all to decide.

Speed Equalized (definitely would be a stomp if it wasn't)

@Nico

First off, Jedi can use the Force on machines and beings with resistance to Mind Manipulation. The latter just stops them from getting mind haxxed.

Secondly, what is Warframe's Mind Manipulation resistance like?

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Electronic_Manipulation

This the link that is on Obi-wan's profile of electronic manipulation. According to that it won't be very useful against someone like Rhino who is intelligent (depending on the operator) and hostile.

The thing about mind manipulation here is that Rhino himself has no actual mind, he's being controlled by an operator that is not in the suit like iron man. The operator is usually in a spaceship while Rhino is on a planet, they are not required to be ANYWHERE close to each other. So mind manipulation is not possible on him.

I'm not too familiar with the lore but I have played the game a lot

What's stopping Obi-Wan from bashing Rhino against the walls or picking apart his atoms with Telekinesis?

besides Obi-wan never exhibiting powers of that level? (in regards to the atom picking)

In the EU, Jedi put together holocrons by inserting things atom by atom and molecule by molecule.

forgive me but i though a lot of the EU was removed from canon :|

@Hazerddex The version being used in this battle is the EU version.
oh ok then ya Obi-wan would stomp Rhino this rhino anyway.

but how much conitration is needed for there Holcron making?

can this be used in combat?

He has a good point. Just beacuse the Jedi and Sith have that power, doesn't mean they can use it with focus in a battle, or on a living being on a fast enough scale to actually make it happen. Otherwise this would be used as such in the verse. Star Wars is very picky about HOW a power is used, and less about how it works. Sci-fi fantasy, people.

Personally the lightsaber and speed + precog advantage here alone is a good enough measure to stop Rhino. While Rhino can surely compare in hand to hand, he isn't a tactician like Kenobi either. Obi_Wan is a genius in Legends and Canon. He doesn't take this with too much difficulty, Hop would say.

I would like to point out that Rhino's Roar will double his AP and his Channeling can potentially double it, combining both would be extremely powerful

We are not using Canon Obi-Wan. What he was doing in Rebels does not apply. Yes we know he's one of the best Jedi ever, but we have to use his EU version, as that was the stipulation in the vs match.

Canon Obi-Wan is not being used, if he was then it would be a stomp. The Clone Wars and Rebels are both canon

@Nico

Well, Clone Wars is included as part of both Legends and Canon due to it being , well, the Clone Wars.

That said, I'm still leaning towards Obi-Wan based on his much greater experience and specialty in dealing with fast paced, heavy hitting attacks with his favored Soresu.

come on man iv not even seen that episode yet thanks for spoiling it and what does that even have to do with this fight?

Obi-Wan: 3 (Reppuzan, Omegagoldfish, God-King Superman77. Still not sure about Hop)

Rhino: 0

I think you confused the canons.

The Clone War (as in the event of the same name) happened in Legends, however, there were events and powerscaling that did not happen. Characters like Ahsoka and Cad Bane are not in Legends Clone Wars. In fact, the real difference for the canon show and the legends show is the title, and art style. Anakin in the Legends one is weaker than the Canon one. But the canon one has more PIS.

The 2D cartoon from 2003 is Legends. There's like, one battle in this show that is canon, thanks to the Rogue One book, Catalyst. And just the entire battle, and the episode is not canon. Just the fact that an event on said planet took place.

Disney regards the 2008-14 3D animated show as fully canon. As you see, Star Wars canon is picky because: Disney doesn't wanna dig plot holes, but also appease fans, and also to create their own canon to correct or explain other plot holes. Such as the literal hole in the Death Star.

Both have different timelines (it's still 3 years, but he 2008-14 show is more eventful) and characters are portrayed differently. For example, Legends Grievous = 6 Jedi Masters. Canon Grievous = 2 Jedi Masters, at best. And various other canon nit picks such as weapons and how they work, and how technically they are all Tier 9 without the Force, but scaling and PIS just kind of poisons the series.

After doing more research, Hop has thought it was reasonable that this is inconclusive. Many factors in their powers could result in either winning. Obi-Wan's only hope is a blitz and decap, and using the Force to make sure it can't regen or anything. Which is out of character and unlikely. So this reasonably, would be an unlikely victory either way. As Hop sees it, inconclusive due to possible draw out of the fight, and due to how they could counter each other.
