Small Grand Star Bowser revision

Grand Star Bowser is currently rated as possibly 3-A via black hole.

Such a black hole appeared in Super Mario Galaxy. According to the guide, this black hole was a threat to the very fabric of the universe.

"The fabric of the universe" implies that it did not refer to matter, generally referring to the destruction of the universe at the structural level, which would be a feat Low 2-C, not 3-A.

Besides, this literally reset the universe. So much so that Rosalina and the Grand Star are Low 2-C because of the same black hole.

His tier should be changed from "At least 3-C. Possibly 3-A" to "At least 3-C. Possibly Low 2-C".

Well, I technically agree, but once The living tribunal1 starts his revision project for tiers 3-A and low 2-C the distinction will likely become irrelevant.

I mean that he is likely going redefine the distinction between the two tiers, given that in reality universal space and time are one unit.

How could you be above universal, but not Multi-Universal?
The same way you can be above Solar System level, yet not Multi-Solar System.

If we change the definition, 3-A would be universal, and Low 2-C casually universal.

Also, I agree with Ryukama.

@Ant Yeah LT has told me a lot about this. Would being able to destroy time/timelines now become meaningless? Or would it fall under Low 2-C yet no longer be considered two levels of infinity greater than 3-A?

Destroying timelines and destroying universal continuums would likely be considered similar, given that both options leads to the other.

I will ask TLT1 about when he plans to start his project. However, we have to get done with the considerable Bleach and Fairy Tail revisions first.

@Ant Alright. Thanks for clarifying.

Rosalina should still keep her tier though with these revisions. She put absolutely no effort into that reset.

It's reasonable to keep her at Low 2-C if it now means casual universe busting without explicitly being able to destroy multiple universes.

I guess Bowser can stay where he's at. I'm not sure.

Yes. I have sent TLT1 a PM about the issue.

I don't see it as entirely coherent. 3-A isn't, as far as I know, the destruction of space, it is the destruction of matter.

The destruction of matter only eliminates the universe in the present, anyone with time manipulation can return a few seconds before the time when it was not destroyed, while the destruction of the spacetime can't return even with time manipulation ― the time ceased to exist.

Destroying the universe in the past, present and future is still superior to the destruction of the universe only in the present.

Well, as far as I have had it explained to me, according to the laws of physics, if you destroy the physical universe, you also automatically destroy time, but that discussion is for an upcoming wiki revision thread.

@Ant

Okay... it will certainly be a staff thread, implying that I will not be there. In that case I'll just wait for the result.

@Paleomario66

No. Currently (TLT1 still doesn't change that), 3-A is the destruction of the matter of the universe in the present (a three-dimensional universe). Meanwhile, Low 2-C is the destruction of the spacetime of universe, the destruction of past, present and future in all places (a four-dimensional universe).

In other words:

  • 3-A: Affect the universe at the physical level.
  • Low 2-C: Affect the universe at the structural level.
Low 2-C is infinitely above 3-A. Multiples four-dimensional spacetimes continuums are Multi-Universal/Multiversal.

Well, I agree that for the moment, this seems like a Low 2-C feat. I will inform Dino Ranger Black about this thread.

I was under the assumption "Universe level" was used to refer to beings who can destroy all physical matter in a universe. Or more accurately, perform an attack that destroys all baryonic matter in the universe. Wiping out the "space" of a universe itself is currently Low 2-C, is it not? As in, completely "destroying" not just all ordinary atomic constructs, but things such as dark matter and dark energy, as well. Essentially erasing all of what makes a universe a universe on the most fundamental level.

Yes. However, TLT1 and I had a private conversation, in which he thoroughly explained to me that our system is inaccurate in this respect, and DarkLK allegedly accepted his reasoning.

Hence, we will have a staff discussion about this topic eventually.

I have no qualms with that. Though I will say that if we do, 3-A should preferably remain the ability to destroy all baryonic matter in a universe (or at least be specified to be as such), while Low 2-C is instead expanded upon. After all, something like a traditional energy attack would not get rid of a universe's dark matter and dark energy, so we wouldn't run into an issue of the two tiers bleeding together, there.

Well, I think that the OBD simply separates them as 3-A being the complete destruction of a universe through extreme exertion, whereas Low 2-C means performing such feats casually.

In any case, we will probably have to invite DontTalk to such a discussion, despite that he technically is not part of the staff anymore.

Anyway, I have derailed this thread enough, so let's return to the original topic.

You can continue talking on my message wall, if you wish.

This does makes sense. We already have the Grand Star at 2-C and there was a Dark Matter Plant in the game as well, so logically he should get the same rating. However, according to Ant, there's going to be a revision regarding Universal feats at 3-A and Low 2-C. We may want to wait until that's concluded to see whether any changes should be made. Ask for the system right now, it's perfectly fine.

@DRB Well, you can revise Bowser's profile in the meantime if you wish.

I've changed Bowser's tier to Low 2-C via the black hole. Dino can ask about any further changes if he wants.

Okay. Thank you for the help. Should we close this thread then?
