Optimus Prime vs. Son Goku

Hopefully this is a little fairer than my last matchup with Optimus....

Saiyan Saga Base Goku is used.

Speed equalized, fighters start 20 meters apart.

Who wins and why?


Optimus: 3 (ShrekAnakin, shadyboi0, EightAte8)


Goku: 7 (Purgy, AwkguyDB, Iisdude1, Dragomer, Ionliosite, Nitro90, Joshuaowl)


Inconclusive:
 
Why is Goku planet level lol? That justification is terrible, "Piccolo destroyed the Moon so Goku is planet level". Regardless, assuming they're both planet level with equalized speed Goku wins just from looking at their profiles.

Pretty sure Optimus is slightly further into 5-B. Not to mention, what exactly is going to give Goku the clear advantage?
 
Sure Piccolo was casual, but him doing a casual Moon level feat doesn't make him planet level. Also, the calc you posted has no comments so I'm not sure if that was accepted.

Lol if that's true, than I'm pretty sure that Goku has been invalid for a looooooong time....

Skill and versatility judging from their profiles. Though it's possible Optimus is missing a lot of his capabilities for his profile.

Skill, Versatility and the fact that Goku's Kamehameha can get a 2.3 boost as displayed against Raditz. Goku may be able to put Optimus down with that.

Optimus does have millions of years more experience than him, and has been a soldier for a very long time. However, goku is just a much better martial artist, whereas Optimus seems to just use more practical fighting skills. and in a fight between these two I just see goku coming out as the winner more often than not due to his better skills in combat.

I mean I could sprout some stuff about it being Raditz fight Goku, who wasn't exactly planetary, mostly due to what he could do, the Piccolo moon feat was presented after Raditz and although people do say Goku scales directly to Piccolo, I struggle to see that, while yes late saiyan saga Goku is planetary, I do not believe he was proven planetary as he slouched in training which is even stated during the fight with Raditz that unlike Goku, Piccolo trained for those 5 years, but that late saiyan saga Goku was planetary due to scaling with Vegeta. So I guess theres a planetary debunk but kamehameha, taiyoken, and his natural strength and cleverness (Goku isn't a dumb fighter despite DBS) would give him the victory imo

edit: anything outside of Radtiz fight goku is pretty clear due to kaio-ken and genki dama

Even if Goku was a slouche during training, he still has an official power level higher than Piccolo.

Piccolo was 408 while Goku was 416 in the manga
 
I'm fairly certain a character needs seven votes with at least three more than the opponent for grace to begin.
