Kyu fights a Doctor

Up and attack I would guess, since he doesn't have any ranged weapon. Or maybe get out of site and think of a plan? I'm gonna bet the attack plan more despite his genius. Since the genius isn't entirely combat oriented
 
Actually. Scratch the non combat oriented intelligence. He apparently is smartest in game from the looks. Which includes dwarfing some impressive things such as building MFTL stuff, teleportation, Ect. And can do it on the spot. His intelligence could likely take effect. As well. He might resort to using his graphs to manipulate and distract her emotions.
 
I Mean Kyu could probably do the same, though, right? A sim isn't exactly the hardest to manipulate considering that they get happy when they're around a little painting, a few ticks of the dating grid would have more effect on a sim then a normal person I would think, especially since Kyu can fly so she's certainly got the space to play keepaway to make a few matches.
 
No? She shouldn't be capable of the same thing. Shouldn't be assumed she really could empathy hack in such a way. However

The dating grid I would agree can be more and less effective. it all depends what she does. I won't deny, Sims are pretty emotional. But she would have to first find the actual thing he relates to and likes then pull him in with it. If she does any anti likes, that can be a pretty decent hit. Much like its more effective in a good way. It's more effective in a bad way too if that makes sense. Her biggest issue here is doing that without getting caught by the doctor guy.

I wouldn't assume she can fly very high since we never see her actually fly, so we have no idea what her limit would be, if she even can. Though since it's implied, and she does have wings. It still could possibly be used. But I wouldn't say out of his range entirely. Especially with paintings
 
Ahem my dude I don't know what you're talking about with anti-likes. The sims are super ******* emotional and he can't spot her anyways so she's going to be able to use the actually empathic hax better than just showing a painting.

Also, again, anti-likes? That literally isn't a thing in Huniepop and I'm wondering where you're getting that from. Any token you match, even if it's not the most preferred, or if it's their least preferred, improve their affection towards you, and it's work the same here. The only way that wouldn't happen was if she hit the broken heart tokrns, and she's been using the dating grid long enough not to do that. Are we assuming the doctor is male? If so then the Huniebee may not actually work, but an argument would be that she can figure out what the doctor's most preferred traits are via her Huniebee but because Huniepop is fantasy fuel for guys we've only seen it work on women.

Also I can't see paintings doing much to her besides...make her kinda sad? I really doubt it'd accomplish much.
 
I mean things that they don't like. Trying to connect with a subject they don't like or care about. Which to my recollection can effect how they feel about someone in a bad way. Like talking about say A Dog to a person who doesn't care for it doesn't like dogs. That can effect in a bad way. And I don't believe she starts invisible. At least she shouldn't immediately start invisible. But opening with invisibility I wouldn't doubt

For anti likes. Read above. I just mean general things they wouldn't care for or like about. It wouldn't really effect them. At least I don't think it should since Their emotions are so. Well. Ya know. Well. A guy is shown on the profile. So I guess. But using the Huniebee to figure out his likes I do believe would work. Which would help her avoid bringing up subjects he wouldn't like.

Sadness, Fear, and anger are the only useful ones I would see. Feat cause ya know. Scared. Sadness can effect how she fights if at all. Sadness can really hold a person back. And anger which could cause a blind attack. Which would lead to defeat since he is stronger
 
Yeah but I doubt he's gonna whip out a painting, also in most things Kyu is in its outright stated she's just invisible, even when she's going on a date with the main character, she's completely invisible and undetectable. I don't know why she does that, but she does just straight up not want to be seen, so I'm assuming invisible is the natural state for people such as Kyu.

Either way the Huniebee does just tell her what his preferred traits (Sexuality, Talent, Romance, Flritation, etc) is going to be. I think the actual empathic hax that Kyu has would be more effective in bringing up his emotions than just talking to him, though, so I don't see why she wouldn't go for that, and most of the emotions he could make her feel aren't going to do much. Kyu isn't much of a fighter even when angry so like, the anger wouldn't do much. Only thing to hope for would be scared and that's even if he'd think about doing that or that's an "opening move" for him.

Honestly I just see this going the way of seduction for Kyu to incapacitate him. Hell, wouldn't be out of character. The doctor is probably an attractive enough guy for her (don't really know the type of guy Kyu prefers) but odds are...yeah she's just gonna seduce him after buttering him you with dating grid hax, maybe presenting a few gifts (which also increase passion and soemtimes affection and even joy), which are going to make the doctor even more emotional and fall for her. It helps that she's been doing this for a long Damn time

Well. If he is looking to fight. He has multiple options which we can't be too sure which he would open with. We can say it's just a general coin toss since every Sim has their preference. Probably best to look at his options and see which one leads to wins and which one doesn't, then Judge odd that. Which as I brought up earlier are three options. Attacking physically. Using paintings. Or distract and planning

Then that's a good way to counter his emotions shooting downwards then. If she knows what subjects to hit, she should be good there then. As long as she doesn't go off what her device tells her to do. And blind anger can make you attack anyway. She is in a fight after all. I would say making her angry enough would result In a form of attack. Don't have to be a fighter to Wanna knock someone's teeth out. I will say, sadness won't do too much, but I think it would at the very least slow down her seduction. Not halt it entirely. But being sad tends to slow you down.

I think the best way to see how he would react in emotion wise is to consider a real human. Since they are supposed to be sort of center around them. (I say sort of due to the sims having some BS stuff). Which I would say if a chick like her is hitting on him. It at the bear minimum throws him off his game, and since so emotional, easily have him swayed

So...are we in agreement that she wins? Sorry I'm just a little bit confused. Technically speaking she doesn't even have to speak to him for the empathic hax to take effect. Just keep matching tokens and affection goes up, but after a decent amount of affection I'm sure she'd try to hit on him and seduce him. That's just how I see this ending, and with a sim always so emotional? Yeah, they'd probably fall for it.

which technically counts as a Kyu win even if no one dies horribly

I currently think so yea. I'm just talking in the details of it. Thinking out loud about it I'm missing anything.

And yea. Pacify should be a win condition. Else Social Influencing and some forms of Empathy manipulation are useless. I think it works as good as Incapacitating since said character ended the fight. Just emotionally rather than physically
