Merry Christmas!. Decided to make this thread to provide feats that support the current FTL ratings for the Danny Phantom characters so lets get right into it.
Ghost Ray
I created a thread in the past that discussed how the Ghost Ray is actually a beam of light and it was accepted. I decided to remove it because ecto energy is supernatural and not natural so I assumed a supernatural beam of light cannot be light speed. However this is a crap reason on my part considering moves in fiction can be light speed so long as nothing goes against it and it follows our rules, which the Ghost Ray does. I'll go over my points to why the Ghost Ray is a beam of light.
During Danny's first encounter with Johnny 13's shadow in season one, episode 14 titled "13". Danny is pulled inside shadows body and to escape, he fired a Ghost Ray from each of his hands which caused Shadow to blow up and when he regenerated, Shadow shook it's head and appeared dizzy. Danny states "Bright light seems to effect it". This is proven true when Danny lures Shadow to a movie theater and right before he grabs Danny. The movie projector actives and the light that was shined from the project burns Shadow and causes him to flee.
At 9:54 Danny uses ghost ray to blast out of Shadow and says "Ok, so bright light weakens it" and you see shadow is dizzy. At 10:50 you see the flash of light from the projector hurt shadow.
In another encounter with Shadow in season one, episode 16 titled "Lucky in Love". Danny flies through his school, enters the Science Lab and grabs a magnifying glass. He then fires a Ghost Ray from his finger through the magnifying glass lense and it causes the Ghost Ray to expand and when shadow is hit by the light, it has the same effect as the movie projector and burns him.
At 5:05 you see Danny shot his Ghost Ray through the magnifying glass which causes it to expand.
In Danny's encounter with Pandora's maze guards in season 3, episode 8 titled "Boxed up Fury". Danny faces off against a cyclops and fires a Ghost Ray at it's eye which causes it to cry out in pain and run away. Danny then shouts "Better get some sun glasses pal". This means Danny is legit saying the Ghost Ray would have been ineffective against if it had sun glasses. Which helps back up it being light.
At 15:04 Danny fires his ghost ray at the cyclops and as it runs off he states "Better get some sun glasses pal, or sun glass".
Finally, we have seen the Ghost Ray reflect of force fields multiple times. In the episode "Teacher of the Year", Danny fights Technus in the game world and he fires a Ghost Ray that bounces right of the force field Technus created and comes right back and hits Danny. In the episode "Phantom Planet", Danny fights Vlad in space and shots a Ghost Ray at him and it bounces of Vlad force field in another direction.
At 17:48 Danny fires a ghost ray at Technus and it reflects of the barriers surface
Their are a few other moments and some other stuff but you get the idea. The Ghost Ray is clearly suppose to be a beam of light. It moves in a straight line and never curves, it has the same effects light does against a being who is weak to light, it is described like light and going by Danny's statement against the Cyclops, sun glasses would have block the it's ray and it reflects off surfaces.
In my honest opinion it is legit and supports the current rating because of Danny dodging a Ghost Ray in season 3 and the feat ends up very close to the current speed rating and the calc was accepted.
Edit: I forgot about this feat for the Ghost Ray from season one, episode 5 titled "Splitting Images".
At 8:11 Poindexter shots his Ghost Ray from his eyes and they expand through the lenses without blowing them out.
I forgot about this statement from Butch Hartman himself in a video he did about giving Danny a new power. You can watch the whole video if you want, it's only 4 minutes but I'll put the time stamp
At 1:35 Butch states "Use his ectoplasmic energy that glows, because it has energy. But what if Danny could turn the energy in reverse?. He could take the glow and reverse it, instead of creating light, he could now create the absent of light.
Now yes, the Ultimate Darkness/Void move is non canon. However Butch is literally stating that Danny is using his energy to create light. Which would obviously be the Ghost Ray since it is supported in the show itself thanks to it's showings. So even the creator thinks It's light.
Specter Speeder
In the final episode of the series, we get a feat of the Specter Speeder traveling from Saturn to Earth in a short timeframe.
Here's the episode
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x601hy7
At 00:41 we see amity park during the day and then the screen travels all the way to Saturn quickly. At 2:00 we see Vlad arrive through a portal and Danny shows up with Sam and Tucker in the Specter Speeder. At 2:54 they take off and head home. At 3:25 the screen zooms back to earth and At 3:40 we see Danny and Crew walking down the sidewalk during the day.
This means the Specter Speeder traveled all the way back to Earth from Saturn in a short timeframe. Evidence to back this up is that when it cuts to them walking down the sidewalk, Sam states how glad she is to be back on earth. Why would Sam wait hours or a day after they already returned to say something like that?. Answer is, she wouldn't. Secondly, in this screen, Tucker pulls out the Infi-Map that they took from Vlad while at Saturn and states Frostbite will be happy they got it back with Danny saying they will return it when they have time. Also, Danny has a curfew so he could not have been gone for an entire Day or hours for that matter because his parents would have been out looking for him if he was late or couldn't contact him. Same goes for Sam and Tucker, there parents would have also been out looking for them. So it's clear they weren't gone for more then a few hours at most.
It also should be noted that they had to start at Danny's ghost portal since they have the Specter Speeder and were chasing Vlad through the Ghost Zone until he found a portal that lead him to Saturn. It is unquantifiable to say how far they chased him before they arrived at Saturn so I wont bother trying. Given it is day time when the screen zooms to saturn and it is still day time when it zooms back to earth and shows Danny and them already outside walking, I'll assume the trip from saturn to earth took a few hours as a highball. In this thread, I was told that going from Saturn to Earth in 12 hours! alone is high end Sub Relativistic.
Now what does this half to do with the ghosts is the fact that we see ghosts actually keeping up with the Specter Speed like in season 1 "Prisoners of Love", Princess Dorathea easily keeps up with the Specter Speed while Sam and Tucker were literally trying to lose her but couldn't. In "Phantom Planet" which is the same episode as this feat, we see Skulker and several other ghosts keep up with the Specter Speeder.
Conclusion
So not only do we have this this feat of Danny traveling to Pariah's Keep and back in a short timeframe. Which is what they are currently scaled to.
Using the Ghost Ray as support given it's showings of being a legit ray/beam of light. We have this feat of Danny moving FTL and it is close to his speed as the above calc and this was accepted.
Here is another calc that is supporting the rating using light beam Ghost Ray and it was accepted.
Lastly, we have the Specter Speeder being able to travel from Saturn to Earth in a short timeframe given the evidence and ghosts can keep up with it no problem.
That's 2 FTL feats with the first being done not just by Danny but other characters as well. A Relativistic feat as support and a High End Sub Relativistic feat that is low balled. This should be enough support and if accepted we can add the two Ghost Ray dodging calcs back on the Verse page.
