EMIYA vs Genos

EMIYA is hypersonic+ with HHS combat speed as per standard servant stats though while Genos is HHS for both.
 
I'd give it to EMIYA for greater versatility overall. He should be more than capable of dodging and blocking Geno's attacks, and he could simply turn into spirit form, appear a few kilometers away, and start firing Hrunting and Projections en masse.
 
Gonna have to go with EMIYA.

More versatility, more experience, and intangibility. His Eye of the Mind would also help quite a lot.
 
If Archer doesn't have a Master wouldn't it mean that Genos could outlast him? Anyway Genos has the speed advantage but Archer will play keep away. Then again his only possible way of success is outlasting him and then beating him, or using self destruct as an attack
 
Archer can act for like two days without a Master.
 
If I remember correctly, that's for as long as he doesn't use high-cost abilities and stays in spirit form for as long as possible.
 
It doesn't sound very good when EMIYA is masterless. Would you guys think it better to make him Rin's servant? Would it be balanced that way or do we have to remove spirit form?
 
Well, it's not like he can attack in Spirit Form. Plus Spirit Form is a natural part of being summoned as a Heroic Spirit, so in order to take it away you'd have to say that he's incarnated or something (which he never was in canon).
 
I have a feeling EMIYA and Genos are not very popular here.

Nope, EMIYA without a master = counter guardian EMIYA, which mean this Emiya got the near-endless magic power from Gaia. Anyway, gonna side with Archer here, you no mess with a guy who have experienced over 1000 battles :p serious answer : Archer win with higher speed advantage and sword spam from UBW
 
I have a feeling I'm gonna have to bump this thread for every answer just to get it somewhere.

Archer totally wins. Being able to replicate any weapon he's seen like Excalibur? Lol, I just don't see how Genos could win.
 
EMIYA wins if he spams Unlimited Blade Works, because that is the best attack he has to take down Genos.

EMIYA cant trace excalibur though. If anything, Miyu's brother Shirou is the closest I'm aware of that can given that he can trace Ig Ilima or whatever name that skyscraper sized conceptual weapon is.

Emiya is faster and Genos cannot hit intangible opponents.

Well i'll bite for one more then head off.

In terms of physical stats, Genos takes it. From what i've seen of both fighters pages, Genos has the advantage of AP, striking strength, and Durability as well as having all-around speed compared to Archer whose normally Town level and is Small City to City level with his abilities. However, Archer does seem to have the reactions to keep up with Genos as even though he's technically weaker than Genos, he has the reactions to make up for it. Though given that his master is not present(?), it depends how much stamina he has before he can use his abilities.

Speaking of which:

Versatility/or Combatents abilties: Here is where it really decides the battles outcome IMO. For Genos, he has his lasers and fire weapons plus a rader that should probably allow him to be able to try and find Archer. EMIYA on the other hand has more stuff go to by such as magic, projection, could turn into a spirit form which likely grants him the ability to phase(?) through Genos attacks, clairvoyance, and can reality warp the battlefield to bring out his Reality Marble.

If anything, i'm leaning towards Archer as long as he's careful of Genos's attacks and try to take him down with his abilties overtime....that's only if his full stamina is enough to do that.

Oh well then since Rin is likely present here, this makes my vote go more towards Archer. Guy has the reactions and now energy to slowly but eventually take out Genos.

But didn't Emiya/ Archer himself say to Saber that he could reproduce a convincing replica and what happens when two holy swords clash in the reality marble? Either way, even if he was bluffing or can't. In counter guardian form he would be able to with all that mana/prana he's getting. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Archer could replicate Zanpakutou, it just might take a shitload of mana/prana though.
 
What happens if genos kills rin?

If thats a instant KO for archer then I give to Genos however if it isn't I will go with Archer for reasons stated above

Servants can last for two days without a master. Can't they?
 
Anyway, I didn't notice but CrossVerseCrisis gave the final vote needed to secure the win.
