Insanity Vs Sans-ity

Since Jack starts invisible, Sans can't do much until Jack becomes visible to try to **** with him. At which point Sans spams a bunch of danmaku in his face?

Seems like unless Jack is ooc he kinda gets shat on immediately lol

Jack tends to also apply mind screw to make you less able to focus when he appears unless you're someone special like Declan.

There's also that seeing and thinking about Jack will start making sans go insane which would probably throw him off a fair bit.

fair enough. That probably doesn't entirely stop Sans throwing a shitton of bones at him, but if he doesn't get Jack right then he's probably screwed

Jack will have a pretty hard time driving Sans insane. The guy is absurdly good at maintain his cool no matter the situation, and he'd probably realize what's happening to him before any serious negative effects occur, and which point he just nukes Jack with Gaster Blasters from every angle. Sans low/mid-dif.

@Gar Jack's type 8 is only a possibly and i don't think he was ever shown to resurrect from soul shit

@[random letters] Jack's entire deal is that he can make anyone go crazy, and has easily caused normal, functioning people to go completely nuts with a few simple actions. Sans is sure as hell not just gonna take it

How good is Jack's insanity inducement? How long does it take? Because he dosn't have long until he's soulnuked off of the face of the earth by Sans' first attack if both are willing to kill.

Sans isn't normal, though. I'm not implying he won't go insane, I'm just saying he'll realize what's happening before it's too late.

@The Jack caused a mostly ok prisoner to kill himself in maybe half a minute, and routinely makes normal people go completely nuts in short time spans

@[random letters] I don't see any resistance to madness manip on Sans' profile. Simply "knowing what's going on" has canonically not helped people trying to fight Jack in the slighest

While the Soul Hax is still enough to kill Jack, he does need to actually be hit by it, which may be difficult considering that sans will be going insane while he's trying to aim.

Yeah, Jack via making him go insane and punting him

Skill gap+Insanity takes care of it all

@HI3 or bust Sans launches his strongest attack right off the bat. Unless Sans is completely insane within two seconds, Jack gets ******.

@Schnee One Sans has the skill advantage though.

You get really disoriented before you go completely insane, which would give sans a hard time aiming. Not saying its guaranteed sans will miss, but it's a decent chance. The fact that sans can't even perceive Jack until jack decides to show himself also gives him a bit of an advantage there because sans would need to aim at where ever Jack has just appeared from rather than just being able to launch the attack at a stationary target right in front of him like Frisk was.
