Superman the new god who can destroy multiple universes on his own

Hello everyone, Someone told me the following thing (and I'm pretty sure it's fake because you often updates characters when they have an upgrade).


Someone told me "the power of new 52 superman can't be reduced to star level or solar system level". He then added "new 52 superman can actually destroy multiple universes". Here are his arguments:

- Darkseid is a multi universe buster but was killed (sorry if that's not what he said, I don't have his youtube comments) by the anti-monitor who's a universe eater.

- Superman was selected to replace him (but Luthor did in the end).

- Even if Superman didn't replace Darkseid, he became a new god because of the power of the flames of Apokolips, therefore he has the same power than new gods, and so he can multi universe bust just like Darkseid could.

- All memebers of the JLA became gods (he gave no explanations for this one).


Is that true? I highly doubt it's the case, but I'm asking because I'm not an expert in comics. If that's true then that's stupid ... I don't see the point of a whole super hero team composed of 3 - B, to low 2 - C members.

He then added "even the superman from 1939 can toy with dragon ball characters and can solo the verse easily" (even if that includes Whis, Vados, Beerus, Champa, Goku SSGSSJ, Vegeta SSGSSJ, golden frieza etc ...) ...

Darkseid and the current Anti-Monitor are nowhere near universe level. New 52 Superman using his entire power for a solar flare was only City level, if I remember correctly, and after absorbing power from the firepits, he was still shown as comparable to Ultraman.

This type of topic has turned up several times recently. Perhaps we should forbid any attempts to upgrade New 52 Darkseid to universe level and above without explicit proof?

Don't worry, I didn't want new 52 to be upgraded. I just wanted to know if that guy was right or not and fortunately he was wrong.
