If it's DIO it's pointless because DIO canonically beat Kakyoin
Yeah. It's not like that was a situational matchup. If anything, Kak had a big advantage and still lost.

Part 1 Dio vs Kakyoin is actually pretty interesting. Dio is much better up close while Kakyoin prefers range
If it's Peanut Butter Dio, then can't Kak just continuously pull himself away like Spider-Man? He has done that before?

Dio not being able to see stands also gives Kakyoin an advantage. Dio can lolregen most of HG's attacks, but Kakyoin likely would eventually just possess (Albeit he's only used that in one fight against an enemy, namely Death 13)
Death 13 was used because he had no other way to harm him, so it's safe to assume that he'll try that against Dio and succeed.

I think a focused Emerald Splash can reduce Dio enough. It was strong enough to explode that one billboard.

Kakyoin can keep the distance spaming Emerald Splash and if Dio managed to get close he can activate 20 meters emerald splash or posses him with his invicible stand.

Due to the way stands work, Herophant Green can block Space Ripper Stingy Eyes by existing. So that's an advantage.
