Because they have very similar names

Both at 5-B

Majora wants to mess around, Madoka wants to kill him because she thinks he's a witch

Please don't be a stomp

Speed Equal

Majora:

Madoka Kaname:

Inconclusive:

Eheheh... You remind me a pink grasshopper... Last one didn't last long...

Madoka Kaname
You witch, I won't let you harm innocent people!

Isn't this a contradiction - IIRC witches are female, as they come from the despair in a magical girls heart, so why would she assume Majora is a male?

i dunno maybe kyubey decided to finally open his borders for magical bois conveniently on this day

I wanna be a magical boi.

Anyway, I think Majora starts off with Transumation - does Madoka resist that?

no, but given his playful attitude, he'll likely not take the fight seriously, which gives Madoka all the time she needs to paradox Majora with soul arrows.

What stops him from dodging arrows? And then retaliating?

It's exactly because he won't take the fight seriously that he'll try to just transmutate Madoka into a Deku Scrub or something.

Yeah, his playful attitude fuels his sadistic nature to make others suffer in a form that is not there own.

Because it's literally the only attack she used in her 5-B form before becoming 2-A.

That's like the only thing she uses. Especially since all her fights in the anime with Wal she used it

Because that's literally the only thing she has done in her 5 seconds of screen time.

Basically the battle comes to: Time Arrows vs Reality Warping soul based transmutation

Fair.

Although I am pretty sure Majora will use his transmutation to mess with Madoka before she pulls back and fires an arrow.

Considering he spent a good chunk of time messing with Link before he decided to turn him into a Deku scrub just to mess with him more makes the time arrows far likelier to happen.

Pulling back and letting go is faster then shaking, assuming he does that

I am pretty sure the aura and shaking of his mask is a visual effect of his magic activating, however, I believe his magic is thought based.

I mean, he's not even really moving his head - the mask itself is what's shaking. Most likely to show that it is from the mask casting the magic - alluding to that the real villain isn't the Skull Kid, but the mask itself.

Range for either of them doesn't really matter, they both have hecka long range

He was shocked when Link woke up and caught him playing with his Ocarina, so he GTFO'd by stealing Link's horse, but the moment that he was ready for a confrontation with Link, as he would be in a vs battle, he turned Link into a Deku Scrub rather immediately.

The process seemed to paralyse Link or making him contort from pain. Just saying while waiting for C/Kal

I think that's just Link writhing in pain from having his body transmuted.

Further supported by the screams of agony he gives when he puts on one of his transformation masks.

Cal and Kal don't need to exist on a thread for a debate to start or end

I've never said that. I'm just surprised neither has come here yet given that I already asked them to comment here.

It's more like it needs a Zelda supporter in general.

I feel like Majora can take this match, but idk how potent Madoka is, considering she doesn't show up as a magical girl in the anime a whole lot compared to the other characters.

^^^This includes the whole witches turning people into some cartoonish 2-D characters. I'm leaning to believe this could make Madoka resist his transmutation, unless someone said otherwise.

Currently leaning towards a stomp in Madoka's favor if transmut is his only wincon.

Also, all the witches in PM verse are females. So, Majora isn't a witch in Madoka perspective since he is a male. ovo

Majora's transmutation is soul based as it puts a soul in the body's target and forces the body to take the form of the soul.

And Majora's soul hax is strong enough to keep the souls of every dead in a small kingdom from going to the afterlife.
