Samurai jack's combat and reaction speed

PS-this is my first ever content revision thread,so i'll be very happy if someone can point out all the mistakes that i do in this one and shouldn't repeat in the future, and please, bear with me,i still have to learn :p

SO,since i was talking about some samurai jack matchup,i realized there were a few new comic issues for him,so i read them and in Issue number 4 this happens

Jack laser
He deflected blocked multiple lasers with a single slash,at such close range,he was able to process the information of 4 lasers firing at him from different directions and calculate one motion of his sword that would stop them all, shouldn't this put him atleast FTL in combat speed and reactions?

This is a good analysis. However, from my experience, fictional "laser" weapons generally can't be assumed to have the properties of actual lasers due to many lasers in fiction not behaving like real lasers (take the blaster bolts in Star Wars, for instance). I'm not a calc team member, but IIRC, the standard is to assume fictional lasers aren't as fast as light unless there's reason to think otherwise.

I thought it was a generally accepted fact that if a laser was only visible at the source and at the point at which it "collided" with something, it was considered a "real laser" which seems to be the case here,I think.

OK,so if it's an actual laser then it's traveling at light speed, if there are 4 lasers coming at him from almost <2 meters,he has to swing his sword fast enough to block all four of those, so I still think it might be an atleast FTL+ feat.
