A cold wind shuttered across the battlefield, not one day ago, sixteen combatants summoned from their individual worlds had took up arms against one another. Blades clashed, guns fired, magic and the supernatural alike all fought, to attain a victory they didn't know they wanted. Now, the field is near dead silent. A magic necklace lies broken upon the floor, the lights from an animatronics head flicker in the distance, a strange alien backpack lies chopped in two on the ground. Now, only two remain, and they are prepared to do whatever it takes to win

Alec had just finished executing Assefa and looks around the battlefield to see who's left standing. A feeling of confidence sets in as he sees that only the girl remains. She was strong, sure. He'd seen her cleave through men twice her size with ease and she clearly had to have some inkling of skill if she made it this far. This may have been the strangest battlefield he'd ever seen, where school teachers and animatronic bears danced with aliens and super spies, but he would survive. If Bond couldn't catch him, the girl stood no chance.

Connie meanwhile was breathing heavily, remembering Pearl's training. Stance wide, body lowered. Focusing on Alec's stance for any kind of slip up. The gun gave the man a clear range advantage, but that was all Connie could determine from a glance. If he lasted this long, than Alec likely had quite a few tricks up his sleeve, something his cool, confident demeanor seemed to confirm.

A moment passed, then another, the sizing up had ended, the bout was due to begin. Alec raised his gun and Connie drew her sword....

Huge props to TheWrightWay and Cinnabar for the story, and props to Cinnabar and Jacky for the images

Actually, props to everyone. Thanks for joining us all on this adventure. Now let's finish it off

Alright, so Connie was trained by Pearl, a legendary war hero with thousands of years of experience under her belt who has fought through battalions of people with similar levels of AP who have also been alive for thousands of years. Not to mention, Connie herself regularly fights and spars with 7-A characters despite only being 9-B physically, with one if those characters being a mind controlled Pearl. So yeah, skill in a hand to hand fight goes to Connie.

Granted, Alec is far more versatile in his skills, with stealth, espionage, and a whole slew of other skills under his belt, but considering Connie's 6x AP advantage, it really isn't enough. Connie Mid Difficulty.

@Christian No. You created this, nurtured it in the early stages, and then followed it loyally all the way to the bitter end. You have no reason to prop the rest of us for following in your footsteps

@Wright You and Cinnabar made it, so y'all should be patting yourselves on the back for that one

Well. It's time and this was bloody well made good job to everyone involved. You're all amazing debaters and this is the most fun I've had in this site period.

In saying that

Connie wins the final.

Alec has more advantages sure. He's more experienced, much more versatile and he will give Connie a great match. However, the Steven Universe girl takes the win. Even if Alec nails a few shots which I reckon he will, he will need to hit many more to take her down, meanwhile she is just as skilled as him and can block many of the bullets and make her way forward. While Alec would know to stay away from her, eventually it would mostly likely come to that and Alec just runs out of options. Alec has great training and has tactics that will throw Connie off guard but military training doesn't match Gem training and eventually Connie will catch Alec off guard and finish of the former spy. Connie, in my opinion, is our 9-B Bracket Champion.

Alright. I'm not gonna participate as I'm gonna be away on a school camp, but you guys have fun without me!

Firstly, to Hobbiton? I can't decide whether I'm offended, or amused, so I'll go with amused until told otherwise

Also, the camp's not gonna finish till the start of March, so y'all can definitely get started. Maybe I'll have time to sneak a character in before you start, then return to find them annihilated in the first round

Connie eats him FRA.

Damn AP gap.
