Population Density and some other minor question regarding SBA.

After reading about SBA, I'm curious about multiple things.

1. Some abilities gains massive advantage from bystanders (ex. Mind control, Necromancy) but SBA regulation didn't specified the population of the battlefield. And if there's someone, what would they be doing? Between hiding in their home and walking around in the street there're big difference. Some char might decide to pretended to be a bystander since they don't know each other face for example.

2. What to do in case that no one start a fight because they don't know each other? Some char have range far greater than 4km but have very limited information gathering ability. This will make the starting distance became 4km and most likely out of each detection range. What if, in search of the opponent, they go in an opposite direction? This is especially true when a battle supposed to happen in an area with a lot of obstruction like New York.

3. While the char have absolutely no knowledge of each other, what about knowledge of the battlefield it self? Do they know the condition of winning? Do they know where their opponent spawn? Do they know where they're supposed to fight? Do they know the range which make them considered BFR'ed? If they're in middle age would they know about New York technology? Some char would be able to devise better plan when knowing those thing. (Especially char that start a fight with retreat then gather information and come back)

Just got a new question after thinking for a bit. What would "kill" in killing the opponent win condition mean? Let's say a char can reconstruct his/her body and soul after it got erased and the new one is not the same person as the old one (because it's reconstruct, not resurrect) but have the same memory and personality. Then, that's technically dead right? So does he/she lose the fight? The example to this would be a computer virus. Some virus keeps back up file in your device/cloud and when deleted, would reconstruct itself using said back up file.

1. As SBA places the fighters in Central Park, there will be a couple dozen people wandering around.

2. They are aware of each other. As for how they are... magic?

3. As per SBA, they have no knowledge of the battlefield, however OP can give someone home ground. No they don't know the win conditions. They will fight on until one character would consider their opponent defeated. Yes they know where there opponent is. No they don't know that range, but it is a range where they can't come back from. And the tech problem is just one character's bad luck.

4. Kill means overcoming all durability, immortality, and Regenerationn that a character may possess. Your example has not lost if s/he can regen their body within 24 hours.

Thanks. About knowing where your opponent is, do they only know the starting location or do they always know where the opponent is? And how accurate is it? Is it latitude x longitude y or just the general direction? And if one char turns invisible (or just blend into normal people) and stand beside other char that have no detection method would they get noticed just by this sense alone?

Also, if a char has information hax like, "opponent have to see me to know the existence of me" (Komeiji Koishi, Touhou) or something similar, would they still know about other party?

They know the starting location of the character, but that's it. Invisible characters or those with stealth abilities can use those to sneak up on an ususpecting opponent. Check out any Michael Myers matches for examples

The opponent would know that there was a viable threat in the vicinity, but no they would not be aware exactly who was the threat.
