Both defeated gods, both managed to save their world, who wins?

Xenoblade Chronicles was a better game, but Final Fantasy 13 had better graphics.

Who is more powerful?

Shulk has precognition at insane levels (he literally could predict an omnipresent), so he should be able to predict Farron's moves and Shulk is faster due running from Mars to the moon in seconds.

I vote for him due that, plus the Monado can kill people with Farron's durability.

Problem is Lightning's Immortality... Bhunivelze himself can't kill her (which is weird considering he bestowed her that power)....

Honestly, I just don't see Shulk winning this one... The only way Shulk can kill Lightning is by being more powerful that a Multi-Universal God (Bhunivelze)...

Shulk killed Zanza, who had two Monados. Each Monado is a tool that can be used to create a universe, therefore making Zanza Multi-Universal. Shulk's Monado was more powerful than Zanza and both of his Monados combined, and while it took all three Monados to reset the universe, the new universe was built around different rules than the old one, therefore making the process more difficult, and who's to say that one Monado by itself couldn't have done that? We never got proof of the max or min that Shulk's Monado could pull off.

My point is: Zanza is multi-universal with two Monados, and Shulk is stronger than that. Take that! (in phoenix wright voice)

Shulk wins through visions. They have helped him defeat enemies stronger than him before. When facing a character with similar stats, Shulk has got this in the bag.

Yeah, his visions are pretty OP.

can the two of them even be incapacitated in this match up? seems like a farce to me :/ I mean.. lightning can't die, time just turns back whenever there is a game over screen :/... Presumably Shulk has a form of immortality too i guess :/

By that logic, when Shulk gets defeated in battle, he just teleports back to the nearest landmark. In-game mechanics should really not be accounted for in everything other than Powers and Alilities.

I'm also learning towards Lightning for her Time Manipulation abilities. Clairvoyance is useless if you can't move enough to do anything about it.

Going to go inconclusive on this one.

Shulk has better combat prowess, but Lightning has that Time Manipulation hax.

I'm gonna give this one to Shulk. Lightning can manipulate time and all, but according to her profile, she can only do so for 75 seconds, and she can't directly interact with anyone affected by it, meaning that it's not going to do anything against Shulk. Plus, Shulk has reality manipulation, which I don't think Lightning has an answer to. Sure, Lightning definitely has the bigger arsenal, but she's gonna have to overcome the reality warping if she's gonna win.

@Senshi

She has Overclock which slows time to a crawl and renders others helpless while she wails on them.

She has killed Reality Warpers before (i.e. Bhunivelze) who were going to remake the universe. That really isn't a problem here.

@Senshi

He won't get a chance to fire it off if time around him is slowed to a practical standstill.

@Reppuzan

This isn't canon, but i think Shulk should be able to switch arts during Overclock and This is NOT A Highly Accurate source by any means but i'm gonna use the Super Smash Bros Franchise as an example, if Shulk can switch arts during Bayonetta's witch time then i think he should be able to switch during Overclock.
