Akame manga

As the survivors, we carry the feelings of those who've passed away on our shoulders.
~ Akame
Summary
Akame is an infamous member of Night Raid, the assassination team of the Revolutionary Army. Her use of the Teigu Murasame, a weapon able to kill any living being with a single cut, has earned her the epithet "Akame of the Demon Sword Murasame" among her foes. Once an orphan trained to carry out the Empire's dirty work, she now seeks to undermine the corrupt kingdom she helped build with her nearly unrivaled skill with a blade.

Akame, Akame of the Demon Sword Murasame

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Master Swordswoma, Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant, Stealth Mastery, Regenerationn Negation (Mid-Low) with Kiriichimonji, Limited Resistance to Poison (She developed resistance to moderate amounts of toxins as part of her training as an elite assassi) | Same as before excluding Regenerationn Negation, One Hit Kill, Aura Suppressio, Resistance to Telepathy (Can "Clear her mind", hiding her thoughts from Zanku, who is able to read one's mind)

Attack Potency: Likely Large Building level (Can defeat Danger Beasts that are this large, defeated Mera, who fought on par with Gozuki, shouldn't be weaker than Tatsumi, who in his beginnings killed a Danger Beast capable of this) | At least Large Building level (Much stronger than before, and defeated Pre-Incursio Tatsumi with ease, can casually kill Evil Birds who Base Incursio Tatsumi had a hard time defeating) | Large Town level+, possibly higher (Much stronger than Mine, and Seryu, the latter managing to withstand a shot from Pumpkin in danger, nearly comparable to Leone, and can harm people comparable to her) | Likely City level (Almost comparable to EoS Leone, is capable of fighting against Budo, managed to trade blows with a bloodlusted Wave, as well as managing to fight with Esdeath at times) | At least Large Mountain level+, likely higher (Almost comparble to a fully serious Esdeath, and managed to kill her in the end)

Speed: Supersonic+ (Was able to effortlessly keep up with Taeko, who should be faster than an assasination target who easily evaded a bullet) | At least Supersonic+ (Faster than before, struck Tatsumi before he had a chance to react, effortlessly blitzed three fodders) | Hypersonic+ (Comparable in speed to Leone who managed to evade the self-destruction of Bols' Teigu) | Massively Hypersonic (Evaded a surprise lightning bolt without much trouble, can keep up with Wave and a casual Esdeath) | At least Massively Hypersonic (Kept up with a fully serious Esdeath)

Lifting Strength: SuperHuman | Class 50 (Should be stronger than Cornelia at this point)

Striking Strength: Likely Large Building Class (Able to fight against Mera) | At least Large Building Class (Traded strikes with Zanku, should be superior to base Incursio Tatsumi) | Large Town level+, possibly higher (Traded blows with MoS Kurome, and defeated some of her puppets) | Likely City Class (Traded strikes with Wave, as well as a casual Esdeath) | At least Large Mountain Class+, likely higher (Clashed with Esdeath multiple times)

Able to survive attacks from a semi-serious Esdeath) | At least Large Mountain level+, likely higher (Took a hit from a serious Esdeath)

Stamina: Very high, she can keep fighting after receiving several injuries

Range: Standard melee range, extended melee range with swords

Standard Equipment: The Shingu "Kiriichimonji" | The Teigu "One Slice Kill: Murasame"

Intelligence: High. Considered worthy enough to be apart of the Elite 7 Assassin squad. Akame is a skilled swordswoman, and Assassin. She is considered one of the best members of Night Raid, her skill with a blade even being recognized by Esdeath herself.

Weaknesses: Murasame needs to cut the actual flesh of her opponent in order to apply its effect. This ability only works on organic beings that have a heart, rendering it ineffective against Armor and Biological type Teigu as well as machines, puppets, and dead things. | She tires out faster in Ennoodzuno form

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Kiriichimonji: A Shingu shown only in the prequel series, Akame Ga Kill!: Zero. It takes the form of a katana. It has been stated that wounds inflicted using Kiriichimonji will never heal; otherwise, it has no other abilities.
  • One Slice Kill: Murasame (õ©Çµû¼Õ┐൫║ µØæÚø¿ Ichizan Hissatsu: Murasame): A long bladed katana with a blade that can kill a person with only one cut. Once the sword pierces skin, a poison spreads into the victim, killing them within seconds. Akame states that cleaning this weapon is very dangerous because of this ability. However, this ability only works on living, organic beings that have a heart, rendering it ineffective against Armor and Biological-type Teigu as well as machines and Yatsufusa's corpse dolls.
    • Ennoodzuno: This is Murasame's trump card, said to only activate when it was ready. When activated, she gets black tattoo like markings on her and a dark aura. It increases Akame's physical capabilities to nearly Esdeath's level, albeit at the cost of shorter stamina than her normal state.

Key: Akame Ga Kill Zero | BoS Akame Ga Kill | MoS Akame ga Kill | EoS Base Akame ga Kill | Ennoodzuno Mode

Note:
Kiriichimonji only negates Regenerationn on a Mid-Low scale.

Note 2: While Akame was paralyzed by Budo's electricity, this was more due to the nature of electricity paralyzing the muscles. The fact is she withstood the energy output overall.

Killua

Assassination... It's the family trade. We all take it up. My folks see me as an exceptional prospect. But I don't see that I should have to live up to their expectations.

Intelligence: Killua can formulate accurate predictions on his opponent's move and has proved to be able to analyze hostile capabilities and thought patterns efficiently. He can devise effective strategies in a matter of instants. Also, Killua's years of experience can lead him to pick the best option. He can keep his cool in extremely dangerous situations.

Weaknesess: Killua needs to charge himself by absorbing electricity from a Tazer to use his Nen abilities and he can run out of electricity if he overuses his Nen abilities, forcing him to take additional time to charge up, Kanmaru (Godspeed) has a time limit.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Nen: As a Transmuter, Killua's most efficient in changing the form of his Nen. As such, Killua developed a Hatsu in which he transmutes his aura into electricity. This feat was both inspired and made possible by the years of electric shocks he received as a child, both as training against torture and as punishment from his older brother Milluki. In order to use the ability, Killua needs to charge himself by absorbing electricity through a socket.
    • Lightning Palm (Izutsushi): As the name suggests, Killua is able to shock an opponent by touching them with his palms. This does formidable damage and can temporarily paralyze a weak opponent.
    • Thunderbolt (Narukami): Killua is also able to project large bolt of lightning from his hands, striking an opponent with electricity from a distance.
    • Godspeed (Kanmaru): With his hair, hands and feet changed into electric type aura, Killua's Kanmuru ability allows him to react and move his body at speeds that would normally be impossible (even in Hunter ├ù Hunter universe). This ability changes Killua's aura into a field capable of transmitting all electrical impulses from his brain in a straight line directly to the part of the body he wants to use, completely bypassing his nervous system. It is made up of two parts: Speed of Lightning, the ability to move his body according to his own will, used to travel long distances at high speed, and Whirlwind, the ability to sense his opponents movements and have his body react automatically, which he uses to evade enemy attacks with flawless speed and timing. Kanmuru can only be used for a short amount of time before needing to be recharged.
    • Claws: Killua has the ability to turn his hands into a claw-like appearance and utilize them just like claws. These claws are sharper than knives and can tear a limb easily.
    • Rhythm Echo: An assassination art, the Rhythm Echo is a motion that creates an afterimage of the body through a varying cadence of steps. There is a total absence of noise during the movement and multiple phantoms.
    • The Snake Awakens: Killua moves his arms with incredible speed, and cuts everything which comes in contact with.

Both are in character.

No, this is not an AP stomp. So don't you dare even bring it up

Both have basic knowledge about eachother's abilities.

TBH this really comes down to who is the more skilled of the bunch, for which is honestly a
Shrug_ds1.png

Lilly's does beat her In teens of versatility, plus he knows about Murasame so he's gonna be cautious.

I think I'll go with Akame by a rather slight margin, Killia does beat her in terms of the amount of techniques and AP (Hey man, it's there, can't just ignore it) and eventually once she gets into CQC she just needs to cut him once and get the drop on him via her presence concealment.

Yes, Akame's pressence concealment screws Hunter X Hunter senses over. Plus, she's fought someone who was on her level physically, and not only knew about Murasame, but has Precog helping him out.

Well, at least Killua might be able to dodge the blade. His isn't stupid you know. But he might have an edge in versatility and range which help him out a lot.

Nope. No toxin he ever resisted even remotely compares to Murasame

Killua is immune to poison actually. Plus he has Nen so that's gonna be very difficult to cut through.

Verse Equalization makes it so they can see and no, he's not immune to poison he's resistant

Yeah, Killua isn't onna be immune to Muarsame. Other people with similer poison resistance training have been killed by it, but how would verse equalization make Akame able to see it? Shes only ever detected aura, never explicitly seen it.

Again, Verse Equalization deals with this. Even in the HXH universe, certain beings if they're "strong" enough, can see nen without using any techniques or training. Hell, one of the Chimeria ants who would've been weaker than Akame was able to.

But yes, verse equalization deals with this. To say it wouldn't, would be like saying Shouta Aizawa wouldn't be able to power-null anyone outside of his own verse, despite the fact that verse equalization takes care of this.

Hagane no Saiyajin said:
I'll give this to Killua because he does not just have better range but also is more durable than Akame, and we all know what happens when he fights less durable people than him. And he might be a more cranial fighter than Akame along with having possibly more torturus assassin training than Akame. Assuming he'll dodge Murasame, which he will, he would perform rhythm echo to confuse Akame and get her heart.
I'm not even sure why durability is even brought up when the difference is so small it's practically irrelevant.

"More Cranial"

That doesn't make any sense, that's a name for the region in the brain, so I'm not exactly sure why that helps him. Especially since you haven't given a reason why.

"More toturus Assasin training"

Again, that doesn't help, especially without a reason why.

"Which he will"

How?

Briefly and then she got up.

And that's because it's Lightning, it traveling through your body is like a Taser.

Electric attacks don't paralyze unless they strike the spine or interconnected region otherwise literally every every single attack he has ever done would paralyze.

And the AP isn't even a factor here so IDK what you're talking about.

wat?

Pretty sure enough electricity traveling though your body is gonna paralyze you reguardless of where you're hit, otherwise tasers wouldn't be anywhere near as effective. You can get tased in the stomach and still get paralyzed.

As for AP, I figured City Block level against Large Building level was enough to make a difference, but I guess I could be wrong. Reguardless my other points still stand.

You can't always apply real life physics to fiction. Killua's attacks have rarely, if ever parylized targets. Even fodders are still able to move after being shocked.

>Applying real life logic to fiction

Combining real life logic with fiction logic is illogical.

I'm talking about a Lightning strike, not a taser

While the physical stats are too close to make a case for a win off of that, you usally go to who is more skilled. And while I would say Akame is more skilled off of Zero and early AgK, I can see why some think Killua is either on par or if not a bit better. Both are highly trained assassins, we can't deny this. After that I start looking at abilities and Murasame is too lethal and dangerous even with knowledge about it. I lean towards Akame.

Reguardless of the sillyness of physics, I'm still sideing with Killua for the range advantage. Murasame definitely make Akame deadlier, but with knowledge I don't think she's going to get many options to get close to Killua.

Murasame's capabilities were wellknown in the entire settings of AgK. Nearly every opponent Akame's fought had that knowledge in mind, came to Akame with different countermeasures to those abilities. Akame destroyed them through sheer skills.

Also, Akame for Gar's reasons

What are the reasons to side with Killua in the first place?

Someone with a weapon to parry, knowledge of Murasame, and Precognition lost against Akame. And the AP difference is minimal here, so Killua electricity won't be nearly as effective as you'd think.
