Frieza vs Future Trunks

Spirit Bomb Sword ain't enough here. He winds up like First timeline Trunks and gets his neck snapped by Frieza's tail.

Yes it would. He only has High-low while regenerating into his final form. He's already in his final form. But that's me implying Trunks doesn't die first.
 
Keep in mind that they both start in base, tho trunks is likely to go super saiyan pretty quickly unlike frieza who tends to not abuse his golden form except if he wants to humilliate trunks (which is likely the case given their first encounter).

Ask Cal. But I dont know why Spirit Sword is a thing when Trunks needs outside help to use it.

i meant that he can survive while being cut in half, he doesent regenerate, he just survives

It's never worked like that, since Freiza has literally been killed by being cut in half. It's questionable whether or not Trunks WOULD be able to cut Freiza in half, but if he did, Freiza would definitely die.
 
I think both of you are thinking of different times in which frieza has been cut in half.

He survived being cut horizontally in half in namek just fine.

He was killed by vertically cutting him in half.

Can I get some sort of scan on the namek thing? If it's true, then all I'd need to know is who has the AP advantage, since it may be possible Trunks could just obliterate him.
 
I dont think Trunks scales to Merged Zamasu, at most pre-mutation Merged zamasu.

Spirit sword requires outside help, and had Goku's and Vegeta's remaining energy.

He scales to Rosé Black, tho.

By "outside help", you mean people were giving him energy? Or was it essentially like the spirit bomb.
 
People giving him energy.

It required Goku's and Vegeta's energy and more people's.
 
Kaioken Goku > First form Merged Z.

One could argue that Pre UI ToP goku is > his Kaioken form in that arc.

But Im just giving my opinion.
 
Frieza didn't actually die when Trunks cut him in half, it was when Trunks incinerated him.

Not that it matters, Frieza stomps him easily since even SSB Goku was stronger than Vegeta and Trunks combined.
 
Frieza probably AP stomps. Goku managed to fight Hit without Kaioken x10 after the FT Arc, and Frieza stalemated a more or less stronger version of SSB Goku. Trunks gets bodied, especially since the spirit bomb sword was a one time thing.
 
It was shown. Goku's Kamehameha performed better in the beam clash against Zamasu than Vegeta and Trunks' combined Galick Gun. And on top of that, it actually damaged his face while Vegeta and Trunks merely annoyed him.
 
And trunks was the one who finished off fusion Zamasu in the end, on top of doing more damage than both goku and vegeta combined.
