I have found a easly way to determine all Fire Emblem character´s base power.

SacredStonesMap4
Low 7-C Base Fire Emblem

Do you see that group of houses and buildings on the top and bottom left parts of the map? (Map 4 From Fire Emblem Sacred Stones)
These points represent Towns.

Brigands, Thieves and Pirates can destroy these places with just standing on those spots in one turn, destroying any items or recruits you could get in them.

"Brigands are known for their ability to destroy Villages, a trait which they share with the Thief and Pirate classes. During the enemy phase, if a brigand unit ends its turn on a village entrance, the village will be destroyed, and any item that could have been gained from the village will be lost. This can be prevented by visiting the village with any ally unit before it gets destroyed. Fittingly, brigands often appear as reinforcements near villages in order to incentivize the player visiting the village as soon as possible."

This is taken from http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Brigand.

These types of enemies are common enemy units, which everyone and their mother are able to fight and defeat.

So, literally every Fire Emblem Character. (FE1 doesnt have this mechanic, but by scaling to Chrom and Lucina, it isnt that bad to scale Marth and the gang to this level as well.)

This change would affect....Everyone.

7-C Base Fire Emblem in DC and Durability.

Speed is still subsonic for everyone exept Elibe and Awakening Characters.

They're not outright destroying the towns, though. They're burning them to the ground and plundering items from them. Most modern Fire Emblem games just depict it as a raid anywho.

The In game Sprite shows them being destroyed.

And in Sacred Stones, there is no indication they are "burning them to the ground."

And well, not to mention this implies the possible recruit you could have gotten by visiting the town has been murdered.

And it is just one Brigard/Thieve/Pirate unit per destroyed town.

So, i think those units are somewhat equal to your own units in general, this also implies all of your units pre-holy weapons are 7-C in Durability.

I agree with Darkanine; it seems unlikely that they destroyed the villages with just a single axe swing or something. And as he said, they were typically described as raid; likely meaning the houses were destroyed one by one. Also, most Fire Emblem games bandit attacks as burning down the village; which has often been mentioned in various support conversations about character backstories.

On topic, Lyn noted that her clan was destroyed because the bandits poisoned their drinking water and waited for them to become defenceless. Probably doesn't happen in game considering it was all in one turn, but I doubt the common foot soldiers and bandits are town level.

I would love Town level base Fire Emblem as much as the next guy, but it seems unlikely currently. For what it's worth, I made a calc that put the Fates characters at Large Building level. Not sure if it scales to anyone outside of the Awakening/Fates "Duology" though.
