1. If Beerus fought in the time nest, he would destroy that dimension of time, aka the 4th dimension. They specify the dimension of "time" not a Universe. Beerus is completely uncaring and not afraid at all, as is Whis. he is willing to go nap even back at his temple while such a threat looms over the multiverse from Demigra to.[/COLOR]

Mira and Towa exist outside the flow of time, even during their battles, Demigra, Goku, Bardock, the patrollers etc have also fought outside of time in the crack of time, and can indeed fight against Towa and Mira as well. This shows they can freely leave the flow of time and multiverse, and exist and move outside of it.[/COLOR]

As far as how many timelines there are, we see directly in Xenoverse that there are many such as for the movies and GT, each scroll is one theoretically, and it is even explained by trunks that all the time fragments are alternate timelines, they result in scrolls, but even when fixed and added to the main scroll the timelines remain regardless, if to many scrolls accumulate then it can destroy the Universe by destroying the time vault. So there are even many more timelines that have been fixed or are not immediately harmful that are not in scrolls to.[/COLOR]

Note Pilaf was able to fix a problem with the time machine that Bulma was having trouble with, and was making giant mechs even in Dragon Ball, so he is a genius and understands time travel. And if we connect Shin Budokai which is a sequel to fusion reborn and 2 years after buu, so technically can link to Xenoverse since it also has FR timeline and many others, then according to Cell there are endless timelines.[/COLOR]
