I think minor sound generation of sort. Especially since people can actually hear it - somehow.
 
The King Engine is the sound of his heartbeat, it's simply that loud.
He's not manipulating any sound, he's just comically nervous.
 
And normal people are able to hear it from a bit away, it's some form of enhanced sound generation albeit very limited

That's correct. Even if he is not doing it, people can hear it far away from him. So minor sound generation seems fine. Unless we call it a gag feat and don't consider it for anything

Well, it has significant effect in-verse, as it regularly makes villains terrified often protecting King.
