Why was Buu downgraded?

Everyone in the Buu saga was downgraded to 4-B, as we can't really take that feat as canon when it is filler that has never been suggested to be canon.
There was a whole thread for it. I am going to close this, as that discussion is long over and the change was supported by the majority of those in the thread.
