Why is Desghidorah Planet Level?

I watched the movie Rebirth of Mothra the other day. I noticed that his article labels him as Planet Level. It says that his destructive capacity is "likely planet level" for absorbing the life energy of planets, and it also says that his durability is planet level. Can we really say he's planet level from absorbing life energy? Is "life energy" even quantifiable? I also don't recall him tanking any planet-level explosions or attacks.
