1-cuz that's just how it is in the meta world everyone uses it (and the human world but not many know about it iirc)

Anyways for a serious answer Truths are just conceptualized forms of facts and theories, the human world uses truths all the time but they are not conceptualized. I mean, this entire board, if based in the meta world, would be slinging blues and reds at eachother all the time because of it.

Truths are a product of a way of deciding what is 'real' and what isn't 'real'. By existing in the Meta-World you are, by product, able to conceptualize truth. So even a cat can use truths because it's a by-product of the Meta-World. It's like how every Meta-being has nonexistent physiology. You wouldn't ask why Kanon would have it just because he wasn't directly stated too, it's a part of their physiology. The only limit is that anyone can use the blue truth because they are human theories, but humans can't use the red truth without facts or proof, even in the Meta-World.

Also, to add a bit more, humans had used Truths in their human form, an example of this being Natsuhi in ep 5 (who thinked in Red), and basically everyone in Bern's game in ep 8 (who used Purple Truth).

If you want to count 07th Teather, there's also Higanbana, an Yokai, using Red Truth against Battler.

Also, Diana is not an actual cat, but a conceptual entity, like pretty much everything in the higher domains.

Umineko is weird, it's supposed to be a mystery genre VN. Then for some reason they decided to add Meta-Physical stuff lol, like why would you add higher plane stuff in a mystery VN.

The meta stuff was already in since Higurashi (tho not in that big amount), which is also a murder-mystery (then the anime decided to make it into a horror gore fest).

That, and because Umineko is also a meta-commentary on the mystery genre as a whole.

isn’t this only in the case of the red truth though? so like the red truth is a method of removing possible outcomes to the mystery to make it so that only 1 truth ,the desired truth for the meta side, remains and the blue truth is what the opposing side uses to bring about more possibilities to debunk this truth. And as such, normally since the meta side doesn’t need to debunk truths and rather protect there desired truth, and non-meta beings can’t use the red like in ep 5 Erika kept on having to ask bern to repeat her truths in red. of course this is normally, meta self Beatrice was shown to be able to use the blue truth but isn’t that just one case, I think it should be only the red truth that should be in the nature of all meta-beings.
