Underale Summaries are not summaries

A simple thing. Can't we shorten em a little?

The summaries are way too big. They should be shortened. Of course it's not like I'm asking people to instantly fix it but haven't they been like that for awhile? I know people are busy but just basically asking for the future.

Actually now I think about that... Are the summaries copied from another wikia? If they are, then this will not end well as visitors from other wikias may have noticed that as well.

Edit:Yep some of the profiles are starting to look like they might have copied from the Undertales wikia in terms of some sentences.

That's also troubling. Then those should really be changed.

But then again the most important part about the summaries is that they're summaries. The pages worth of 'summary' there is pretty big.

I'm pretty sure the "summaries" are just entire sections copy-pasted from the Undertale wiki. I'll start soon, but people more knowledgeable than me should fill in any gaps or inconsistencies.

Well, it doesn't help that they're in direct breach of our Anti-Plagiarism rule along with being ridiculously long. I'm cutting them down now, but everyone can revert my edits if they ultimately decide to keep things the way they are.

Even short bits are enough. That's what matters. Just a paragraph or two would be suitable (Pre-reading)

A good majority of the summaries were written by me, in my own words, more than an entire year ago. I have not been to the Undertale wiki in a long time, but considering I have seen people on other sites copy-paste things that I have written about the franchise, I would not be surprised if people have used my words instead of the other way around (As an example, Flowey's summary was written entirely by me on November 5th, 2015. That is less than two months after the release of the game itself, and a good bit before it had gained the majority of its popularity. Many other summaries were written not too long after, and the history can be checked to verify this.). If anything has been copied, there is a strong chance it was either put on the profiles here from the Undertale wiki by another contributor, or my words were paraphrased on there.

As for the main matter, I have said multiple times that I have zero problem with this, but no one who asks has bothered to do so up until now, so I'm glad Rep has actually helped out.

@Azathoh I see. I don't really mind long summaries or short summaries as it is more like what the users intend to read it or not. This topic seems to be settled so I think it is best to close it as Rep has done the changes going by earlier responses on this thread.

Not so sure if it will applied to all profiles in Undertales, but we should just pick some of the profiles one at a time as this technically is nitpicking in a sense.

@COB By pointing out minor errors and stuff as it is minor changes. Granted it will be shortened to a reasonable amount of paragraphs, but that is all.
