Introduction

My first ever CRT, since back then I ain't got no time to fix this verse page and profile that honestly even right now looks sucks and outdated. This thread will address the issue of the speed that are likely none of the supporters try to bring it up in the past. Well, at least the basis from where the speed scaling and the justifications come from.

What is the Issues?

So currently, most of the characters in the verse on the wiki, are lack of explanations and scans in their profile for the speed section. Which make most of them got slaps into Unknown territory, except for Arata profile since he is the main character on the verse that at least some of the supporter willingly to fix it. However, even in his profile don't even have any scans or a properly explanations where the basis of the speed came from... Which again make the profile are very poor conditions and outdated.

The basis for their Speed from the beginning that most people think

First of all, most of the supporters or people who read the series, will arguably saying that almost all of the speed scaling came from Lugh (i guess), who is one of the most important figure in the series that are presenting and showing the speed feats in the series, this is because she is been stated as God of Light and moving at the speed of light on chapter 25 , and she use it when she fighting any other characters in the series. Thus make all the character who are comparable or more fast than her will either scaling or upscaling based on her speed. This is quite fine, if you are a casual reader and not really care about maniac-detail powerscaling or stuff like that....

But the problem with this interpretation is that, most of the character, or even a normal magus who just got their own Theme (magic) on the series, will straight up get the speed of light without any concreate evidence or any specific criteria on why they should scale to it.

As for Lugh, she itself is been stated to be the second strongest in the world, having archive Trinity using supreme treasure, and lastly she is using the magic that are from "Ildanach", the magic that are studies and put into practice of "light":
From a system of Magic Called Ildanach. As it’s Name suggests, It’s a Magic that studies and puts into practice "Light." One who has mastered luminescence is said to possess the "Speed Of Light."
~Glossary #18

And thus why I think that honestly, not all normal characters should straight up scale to Lugh in terms of speed without any strict conditions or criteria on the character it's own from the start, or heck even making all characters speed base is SOL, which will be kinda weird to see.

Alternative

However, the very basis of the scaling that I will propose that generally should everyone on the verse scale is actually, comes from Levi Kazama. Well, you may ask "why?" To understand this, Levi is been stated to study and research the speed of light and sound, so that she can also applies it in her technique and speed:
The moment she realized that, Levi switched into battle mode right away.
Normally, it would be hard to find someone in this world, who possessed an even higher speed than Levi.
Levi had invested the same amount of time into improving her techniques, as a mage, who researches the speed of light or sound, would have invested into speed, if such magic were to exist.
~Novel Chapter 04: Apathy and Exterminate
The quote above is from the novel that are be the short stories about the past from the girls of the manga Trinity Seven. This chapter 04 are focusing on Levi and Yui Kurata, before all the Trinity Seven members fully assemble at that time and even Arata hadn’t been at the academy yet. And even before it happens in the main manga.

In addition, Levi is also been stated one of the top 5 strongest people, and she is currently no. 3 just below Lugh (less wank). Not to mention that she is also one of the Trinity Seven members, the group of people who should be an expertise in their field of magic studies, and likely more reasonable choice to be a basis for speed scaling, I suppose.

Who should scale to Levi?

In short, the base speed for all the character will be at least Transonic for thus who has a potential, equal, or comparable with Levi in terms of magic technique, quality, or possessed a powerful stuff like Demon Lord Factor, Trinity or Legendary Armament when combat with her such as Trinity Seven members, Demon lord, Paladin Class and etc. for now, as the criteria for those who should scale to Levi. I'm thinking of the justifications should be like this:
At least Transonic (Scaling from Levi Kazama base speed, who been stated to possessed and study the speed of sound) far higher

yeah, at least it should be like that, I'm open for anyone to make the justifications even better than this. While others who is more faster than her should be scale far higher or straight up SOL for their base speed such as Lugh, (one of the example) because she is literally beating Levi without any struggles (imo, Levi did not really all out to fight her).

About Lugh Speed

Although Lugh has many statement that saying she is moving at the speed of light, along with the magic that she is been using from the beginning, there is actually a tiny issue with that... Which if you read the full sentence of Glossary #18 on chapter 28, here is the full version:
From a system of Magic called Ildanach. As its name suggests, it's a magic that studies and puts into practice "Light." One who has mastered Luminescence is said to possess the "Speed of Light." It's the pinnacle of a martial art that makes one capable of movements that cannot be tracked with the eye. With this speed that exceeds human comprehension, the senses can only interpret the movements as "Light." The reason why Lugh always keeps one eye covered is because, by grasping the world "one-sided," she puts into practice the magic of "Drawing Light with the Concept of Lines and Dots." However, the truth of the matter is that she has not mastered the Speed of Light, as it is merely "speed which cannot be tracked by the eye."
~Glossary #18
Glossary is one of the important explanations in the series to explain most of the power system and terms in the Trinity Seven, and I believe we should take noted seriously what the glossary stated unless there is other issues that are contradict. And with that, this will suggest that Lugh are not mastered the speed of light, at least she is not fully mastered it as far as I see, this will potentially leading to the verse lost the "Speed of Light" rating......

However, I do think that there is a middle solution for this issue, because I think that disregard many other statements just because only one anti-feats doesn't necessary the rating should be remove, as the series itself is still on-going the character could just already surpass their limit and and capabilities. I probably will argue that the meaning of "not mastered" here refers to that she is been compared not even in the power level of the Adjudicators who literally can manipulate the concept of "Light" and came from a higher dimensional place (the power itself is probably type 1 concept)

But I'm open up a discussion to everybody whether the lightspeed should be stay or remove.
