On the other end, two characters that arent as haxxy as some of the others. Whew

Alright, so, being from the Liu Association, Xiao is going to be very proficient in direct warfare, along with her searing, stamina draining fire. Now while i believe the Flesh Prison would resists the actual burning effects, but what about the stamina drain? Prison's stamina has only been listed as "possibly Superhuman"

Along with amping her stats via emotion, Ferver, and then EGO whenever that comes into effect, but at least she cant use her Regen much (as it seem to take a bit before putting her back right on her feet)

Being proficient in direct warfare clearly isn’t enough against an organic machine that will throw everything possible to make sure you’re obliterated. Xiao will need solid agility and danmaku-dodging feats to deal with dozens of eyeballs and Maurices constantly firing energy beams, hundreds of Hell Seekers that uh seek her, and massive light beams to corner her. Btw the eyeballs and Maurices can dodge and move around a lot, so you’d normally need either a really good precision with hitscan bullets or large AoE attacks to get rid (most) of them for good

If EGO managed to beat FP, since Minos MASSIVELY upscales from FP, he should be at least comparable to her in stats (assuming we’re equalizing base Xiao to FP). Minos is just as skilled, has explosions that even Feedbacker can’t cancel out, and can spam snakes at her. Stamina draining might work, but again dude is just really damn determined so-

Ah, my bad on the stamina part
Xiao might be fine on the speed feats part, seeing how she should seriously upscale from Index Proselytes being able to blitz bullets being fired out of a gun to deflect them, not to mention she has Instinctive Reaction to be able to dodge/counter the tidal wave of bullets coming her way

(also we may as well scale Base Xiao to FP, because it makes sense)

Seeing how FP would probably (totally) overwhelm base Xiao, she would probably be forced to manifest EGO and then just obliterate FP and its minions with Temp Manip/Aura, along with her Sound Manip/Stats Reduction (she can just yell so loud it causes a shockwave which also weakens her foes)

So it's basically between a fully powered EGO Xiao with a stamina draining fire vs Minos Prime fighting someone who is definitely willing to throw hands

My head’s already imagining Xiao boxing with Minos in a theoretical DB episode already
Personally don't think FP get wiped out instantly, it can still weaken her a tad bit, thanks to the light beams and homing bullets are still present

Minos seems to have more disadvantages tbh. His amp gets nullified, and his stamina just keeps draining. But he has a bit of versatility ig, considering he can somewhat overwhelm a character who can dodge hitscans and tracking attacks coming from all sides. So only the automatic counter thing could actually help Xiao deal with Minos' combos and the like

Oh dont get me wrong, FP is absolutely going to force EGO out of Xiao after some time of bullet hell, but im pretty sure she would eventually be able to destroy it and throw down with Minos

Which leads to nulled amps, draining stamina, and the fact Xiao can pretty easily counter at least the melee attacks (i dont know about the homing snakes, personally), but i am at least standing by that Xiao will eventually win the long clash, probably very close

It says in the OP that King Minos "starts as Flesh Prison" so does that mean that he will switch to his Prime form once said prison is destroyed?

Correct. Minos will come out of the Prison once its destroyed, al-la P1

After checking both profiles I'd say Xiao takes this one. Xiao's arsenal is tailor-made for fighting against groups so the Flesh Prison's summons won't be too difficult to deal with, and when she end up using her E.G.O. she passively burns everything within her range. Also I don't think King Minos/Flesh Prison's heat resistance is enough to withstand Xiao's fire/heat since the latter can burn characters who already have resistance to extreme heat. With that said, the Flesh Prison can probably last for awhile thanks to it's healing, but I don't think Minos Prime would be able to last that long since Immortality is restricted in this tournament.

Again, having an arsenal tailor-made for fighting against groups doesn't mean you can kill the summons without much difficulty, unless you're V1, who has insane mobility, actual danmaku-dodging feats that would make Frisk blush and weapons with precision and speeds that no one can react to yea. Being able to burn foes with heat resistance isn't enough when that heat upscales from... the flashpoint of skin. Ultrakill characters endure the heat of gasoline fires and multiple explosions at once, all of which are around >1500C also the librarians can endure the heat from both base and EGO Xiao iirc so uh, weird. And no, Minos ain't getting pretzeled by Xiao lmao
