Ok, first is to discuss whether or not Veldora Tempest should have concept manipulation, the evidence in question, in the Veldora diaries he basically threatens to destroy Ifrits conceptual self

True dragon conceptual

Take it what you will, honestly don't really care for the concept stuff.

Next is more straight forward, all otherworlders ie Shizue, Hinata etc should have resistance to soul manipulation.

It's revealed in the Veldora Diaries that a mighty soul is needed to have unique skill:

Tensei soul

It was also stated in volume 1 of the light novel that a strong soul is needed to cross worlds:

"Perhaps, but many otherworlders come here bearing special powers. Powers that are chiseled into their souls in the midst of their journey. The summoned will always bear one such skill—a unique skill, one exclusive to them and them alone. Unlike the otherworlders who come here by sheer accident, these people bear a soul strong enough to withstand the stress of the summoning process. The fact that said summoning process so rarely succeeds in this world otherwise proves as much. When you say "summoning process," do you mean…magic, or whatever? Precisely. A process requiring at least thirty magicians conducting a ceremony that takes place over three days. It is rarely successful, but it is seen as a powerful weapon to have in one's arsenal, should the need arise."

So i think otherworlders should have soul manipulation resistance and also everyone with a unique skill since you need a strong soul to have it.

Erase an Type 2 mean nothing if he just erased the avatar and not the concept he is reliant

I'll wait CP explanation but this thread isn't focused about Conceptual stuff so I doubt he really arg about.

Type 2: Embodies an abstraction, and can be resurrected or regenerate indefinitely thanks to it. Destroying the abstraction is required to permanently kill those characters, but they can still be affected without directly altering it.

But Scans on OP are much more relevant.

If Conceptual Manip is accepted, it should be Type 3, he actually not Erased an abstraction or stuff like that, it's still Concept Manip but can't Erase Type 2 or 1 abstract

iftrit is Type 2

according to Demon and angel Revisions

Angel and demon Born From spirit of light and dark

while Ifrit born from the spirit of fire

Personally, i think the part of "Even i had trouble wrapping my considerable mind around the concept" its refers to their understanding of what the "Unique Skill" includes, requirements, which is, rather than manipulate concept itself but it is an opinion only

Ifrit isn't a concept, i relooked at the scan about spirits and nothing is mentioned about ifrit just the spirit of fire, also the ln didn't not mention the great spirit or the great spirits in general so as far as i am concerned it's been retconned, it could be brought up in later volumes, who knows.

Also ramiris didn't use her instant death ability on chloe in the ln, so death resistance for rimuru should be removed, he would still have it as an awakened demon lord though since adalman who has an ultimate gift has that ability.

Another thing that needs to be added is non-physical interaction for anyone with magic:

"I'd better take care of those two guys first before tackling Ifrit. So I tried out some Water Blades. Unlike the fire giant, the salamanders couldn't cut off the attack before it hit home. I managed to slice off a limb…but, ridiculously enough, the guy grew it right back again. It must've been made of fire like everything else. Just cutting it off wouldn't accomplish much. The black snake probably exuded more raw strength than these guys, but the salamanders' special powers would make them a tad trickier to defeat.
"…My master, physical attacks will not work against spiritual foes. Striking their elemental weakness or using magic will," Ranga explained.
Oh. Right. Hitting an elemental spirit with a sword wouldn't do much, would it?"

Also ppl with ultimate gifts need to lose their resistances, ultimate skills>ultimate gifts, gifts are just degraded ultimate skills, only ultimate skills have been stated to not be affected by lower abilities.

Ultimate skill users should have resistance to void manipulation as well since gadra's ability is only an ultimate gift.

By the way, great spirits did not have ego―they were masses of energy.
The Fire Spirit was just an excess fragment of the entire mass.
Like a monster, this fragment gained self awareness.
And this self-aware fragment of pure energy thus became a monster.

Great Spirits are concepts, the sentient spirits are fragments of concepts, does that mean Spirits are also conceptual?
